Martin and Melissa were walking up Moon Lake’s shopping district; passing Awareness and the new restaurant Grrrrrrr minutes after Eric, Frieda and Spencer entered; they notice Martha Anderson just as she is about to enter. Clearly neither three weres was keen on talking to the other; they walk by as Martha heads into Grrrrrrr, choosing to enter a sweet shop several buildings over.
The shop in question was called Candied Chaos; containing a plethora of name brand candy; domestic and imported, as well as some fresh made fudge. The smell of the freshly caramelized sugar was intoxicating as the Stowalls entered; the shops clerk smiled as they walk in.
“Welcome to Candied Chaos,” she says; “your one stop shop for all your sweet tooth cravings. How can I help you?”
“What is that wonderful smell,” Melissa asking.
“A fresh batch of rock candy,” the store clerk answers; “would you like to try a sample?”
“Sure,” Martin answering as he takes the samples and give one to Melissa. Despite being primarily pure sugar both Stovall’s could taste subtle hints of fruit and mint mixed in.
“Oh that’s good,” Melissa sucking the small piece she was offered; “we got to buy some Martin.”
“Okay,” He responds while looking at an odd treat. Looking up at the store clerk he utters; “chocolate cheese?”
“It’s quite good,” the store clerk answers; “It mostly chocolate fudge with a subtle hint of cheese mixed in it.”
“I’ll stick with regular,” Martin looking skeptical; “but thank you.”
After buying some of the freshly made rock candy and a bar of regular fudge; Martin and Melissa walk out of the store to continue their stroll.

Julie Stovall was on her computer; after disabling the keylogger on her father’s computer, she was looking for something. Anything she could use to get back at Eric and Frieda; going through social media and not seeing much activity on their feeds, not knowing that they blocked her. Julie grumbles at the lack of juicy gossip; gossip she missed when she and Frieda were still friends.
Julie is about to give up trying to search for dirt when she receives an email from one of the friends that didn’t distance themselves from her. Being war of the email; remembering the last email containing a worm. Looking at the sender and size of the message, Julie decides not to chance another disaster and deletes the message unread. She jogs of her computer and heads back to her father’s study; reactivating the keylogger, Julie heads to the kitchen to make herself a sandwich for lunch.

Brian Walker was on his computer looking for his father as usual; trying various sites to search for George Walker. Tax records, employment status, even dating sites; he was getting frustrated. It was as if George Walker never existed. Brian getting frustrated, he decides to turn his attention back to another matter nagging him. Alyssa Cooper’s request to have Martin Stovall legally declared dead; why would she ask him to do such a thing and why does she want an answer when they next meet on Monday after school.
Brian wanted to talk to his mother about this over breakfast but how was he to approach the subject without admitting that he snuck out and admitting to being a hacker; instead he chose to remain silent and head back to his room. Being holed up he never realized that it was nearing lunch; Emily Walker walks in to see Brian’s computer displaying the usual ‘name not found’ message on his computer screen.
“Still looking for your father I see,” Emily sighs.
“He needs to answer for he did to us mom,” Brian looking sullen.
“And he will one day,” Emily answers; “give the private investigators a chance.”
“A chance for what,” Brian’s anger rising; “for them to bilk you out of the money you managed to scrape together from your two jobs? To jerk you around with the ‘we need more funds to look into this new lead’ bullshit! I have a far better way!” Brian turning around on his computer, he pulls up a government site; entering some information he hits enter. “There, if dad ever wants to cash a cheque, access government services, or be able to pay a bill, he will have to deal with what I just did. He’ll have to crawl out of whatever rock he was hiding to fix this. Once that happens then we’ll know where he is hiding and get our pound of flesh.”
“Brian Smedley Walker what did you do,” Emily clearly worried and upset.
“I just had dad declared legally dead mom,” Brian snapping back; “and I don’t care if it causes issues for us, he needs to answer for his actions!”
