“I think it's best we continue this talk somewhere more privet. If you want to make up for your slander, then come with me.” Jade followed meekly, carrying his laptop and things in his backpack. Inside he was grinning with triumph.
He was lead to Elliott's car and they drove off without a further word. Soon, they arrived at a house that conveniently stood a bit apart from any other. It looked nice. They still hadn't said anything, and Jade continued his facade of looking guilty and scared. He knew it was driving his teacher wild.
They entered inside and Elliott showed him to a hidden door down to the basement. Jade made himself look scared, but entered anyway. It was dark down here. Jade couldn't quite make out what was on the walls. He turned to face his teacher, who had locked the door and was coming down.
“You know how much trouble you caused me, Jade?”
“I'm so so sorry!” Jade lied. His eyes brimming with tears of guilt. “Please. I want to make it right. I'll do anything you say.”
