"Uh.... Doc?" You go to pull your pants back up, a little weirded out that you're being stripped down to nothing by a Doctor you know relatively well. "Just stay still and let me do my work!" The Doctor barked out.
Again, stunned by an irrational obedience to him you lay there on your side. You jitter a little bit anxiously. "Did you just do that? Your little tail. It twitched!" Part of you is a little excited that you have this little tail, but under the circumstances you would pick staying human any day over this. You feel like you could be dying with your messed up muscles and you can't even think about drinking water at the moment. The fantasy of being an animal isn't all it was cracked up to be... Then you come back to reality. The Doctor asked you about your tail. You try and wiggle it but you're not sure what muscles even work at tail. At first you clench your pelvic floor. You can feel the stub between your ass cheeks now and although the action didn't wiggle your tail, you can definitely tell there are some new muscles that a normal person wouldn't normally have. It takes 4 full tries but eventually you do manage. You have just wagged your tail on your own accord for the first time in your life.
"That's good!" Dr. Newman says. You feel an odd sense of satisfaction at the Doctor's compliment. Your one inch tail begins to wag back and forth on its own will, apparently linked to your small bout of happiness on this otherwise crazed night. The doctor turns on the telescopic exam light and lowers it towards your groin, and lifts your highest leg up so he can take a better look. "Hmm... The tailbone if you want to call it that anymore has completely unfused into seperate vertebrae. Approximately an inch has developed skin to surround the bone, accompanied by muscle to provide locomtion of the appendage..." At first you think he's describing your changes that you can't see yourself. Then you see that he has pulled out a small camera and is filming the examination.
"Uh... Doc? Wh- Why arsh you filming thish?" The Doctor glares at you hard. "I must document this! This has never been witnessed before! Stop causing problems or I will restrain you." Your docile side says to stay still, but the red light on that camera just freaks you out too much. "But... The camer-" Your word is cut short as he grips you with an unhuman strength. The virus is clearly affecting you both very differently, evidently turning the Doctor into some sort of alpha male. Before you know it, you've been positioned on top of the table on your hands and knees. Restrained in some sort of leather bindings used to keep stubborn dogs still while a vet does their work.
"Now, where were we..." The doctor loosens your leg restrains just enough to pull them further apart before tightening them again. There is no way you can move your body. The only thing not restrained is your head on your shoulders. You feel your small tail being lifted before Dr. Newman begins speaking to the camera again. "Interesting... The rectum has also shifted back to remain adjacent to the tail. In fact the entire hip has altered slightly. And what's this?!?"
