I knew if I went anywhere else in school I would probably be found out. Anyways, I wanted to have some fun with this ring in various places, so I decided to teleport myself to the local pool.
Once I was standing next to the water, i wished that I was invisible. My timing was perfect, two girls who looked to be in their 20's came wearing a red and blue bikini respectively. I wished the hot tub would turn them both into mermaids, but not like I did with the other girls. I wished that they could breathe out of water, but would have such a craving for it that they would do anything to get to it, that bring out of it would drive them insane.
They both sat on a beach chair and talked happily for a few minutes before deciding to hop in the tub. The second they hopped in, I saw the look on their faces. They both looked at each other like something was very wrong, then the transformation hit them like a train. they groaned as their legs fused together, moaning as the changes turned their legs into jello. When the transformation finally ended, they were both breathing heavily as if they had just ran a marathon. They looked down at their tails in disbelief, then looked at each other in pure shock.
"Are we...mermaids?" The blonde asked the redhead.
The redhead took a second to answer, her eyes wide open looking down at her new tail, flexing it experimentally. "how did this happen..." she mused inbetween heavy breaths, "We can't leave the hot tub, there's n way".
The blonde's face suddenly looked like she had a realization. It had just occured to her, there was no escaping this pool until someone found them. She realized that she couldn't walk not with this tail. Thoughts ran rapidly through both their minds, why them? Is the change permanent? What will their family think? The blonde woman began to sob, putting her face into her hands. She couldn't even consider herself human anymore, not with a fish tail. The redhead tightly embraced her. "Listen Ava", she said as if she was ready to cry as well, "I don't know how this happened, or what we're going to do, but we'll get through this. You aren't alone."
