Mike would be of no real help, he was a horse, and to anyone looking would be like he would be trying to steal Mike. Joe was flying somewhere, he might be able to help. But then he remembered Cat was going to the pub and gather info. He could go to the pub and convince her he was no mere child. The only problem was that he didn't know which way was the pub. But if he stayed near the mud, his "brother" might try to muddy his mind again. He made his mind, he would go into town, naked as when he was born.
One of the little toddlers saw Brian running into town, he got up and went to where the older boys were playing. "Brother!" he yelled to gain their attention. Which he did, unbeknown to Brian this one had the job of informing his big brother if any of his friends were missing. "He left." he said to the big kids gathering around him.
"Who?" asked one but it wasn't important a quick glance was enough to find out who was missing. "Shit! Aaron, your little brother is gone."
"What? Oh dammit, I got younger because of that brat. Which way he went?" he asked the little boy, which pointed to the direction where Brian went. "Shit, the market place, he's going to get lost in there."
"No doubt looking for his partners. The mud must be losing its mojo." said one of kids.
"We'll tell the wizard later. You need to find him Aaron." say another one.
"Hmmm... maybe I don't. He was with that drow girl right? And he was looking for information, so maybe she is too." said Aaron.
"So?"
"Which means she is at the pub, and our friend is going the other way." concluded Aaron. "Which means I can get to her before he can tell anyone. I'll just have to pretend to be lil' bro."
"You don't look anything like he did."
"Neither does he." replied Aaron before running toward the pub.
