It was Cleo, in mermaid form, her multi-colored tail, sticking out of the water and swaying behind her, was even more striking than Janine's. "Hello again Tim, like what you see?"
"Do I ever!" Tim answered.
Cleo backs away and brings her tail out for Tim to get a closer look. "It just can't compare to the tails that silly old serum creates. The pearlescent sheen of the scales, the way the colors seem to change with the angle the light hits it, truly an elegant, almost magical appendage."
"I'll say!" Tim agrees.
"I bet you would've loved to see Janine with one like this."
Tim paused for a minute, he wanted to avoid bringing her up tonight and a pang of guilt welled up within him. "I... would, yes; but you said there was no more serum; and it wouldn't have given her a tail like yours, anyway."
"Fortunately, there are other ways to make a mermaid," Cleo said before looking past Tim, "right, Janine?"
Tim turned to see Janine in the doorway. The sight almost gave him a heart attack. "Janine!!!"
"Yeah, that whole business trip was just a line we thought up." Janine said.
"You lied to me; BOTH of you!"
"And YOU were going to cheat on your girlfriend with me," Cleo rebuked, "so no use trying to take the high ground!"
"Okay, okay; I'm sorry! It was stupid of me, alright? I just... wanted that experience again. We never had sex like that, and when I was told we'd never have it again..."
"You think that I didn't pine for it myself?" Janine said. "You were desperate for sex with a mermaid again, and I was desperate for sex AS a mermaid again; but, Cleo has offered to give us both what we wanted."
"You mean, she DOES have more serum?" Tim asked.
"Better." Janine answered. "We'll have a three-way."
"Th-three-way!" Tim asked nervously.
"The sex will turn me into a mermaid, then you will have TWO mermaids to have sex with."
"What'll happen to me; it sounds like I might also become a merman."
"Mermen don't exist." Cleo said. "That has NO chance of happening to you."
"So then," Janine grabs Tim and wrestles him into the pool with her, "shall we begin?"
