It sounded like out of a spider man comic but Mr. Thompson looked serious.
"Are you sure that this will work?" Matt asked unsure.
"It worked on a rat so yes." Mr. Thompson said. "Follow me."
Matt followed Thompson into a laboratory with a lot of cages full of dead rats, deformed rats and lizards. Then they entered a room with to a huge tank filled with a green liquid.
"This" Thompson said while pointing at the tank "is the serum that will grow my arm back."
"You are crazy" Matt said.
"No" Thompson explained while attaching a tube from the tank to his left shoulder. "I am not crazy. I will heal me. I will grow my arm back that I lost because of a biological weapon here. Could you please press the button here." He pointed at a button on a control unit next to the tank.
"I the serum also able to make a body better?" Matt asked with a crazy idea forming in his head.
"Yes I think so."
"Then I will join you." Matt said and attached another tube to his arm. Then he pressed the button.
Slowly the green liquid flowed through the tubes into the two bodies. Matt could feel the serum cursing through his veins. He looked at Thompson who looked like he was enjoying it. The whole tank emptied the liquid into the two bodies. Then it stopped.
"Wow that was weird." Matt said.
They took of the tubes. Then Matt saw something bulging under the lab coat of Thompson. Right in front of him he saw Thompson's left arm growing back. And Thompson's arm grew very muscular. A big biceps formed. Then the other muscles in Thompson's body grew too until he had the appearance of a bodybuilder.
"It worked. It really worked." Thompson laughed.
Then Matt's body tensed up. He could feel every muscle in his body growing. And he got taller too. Matt grew until he was as big as Thompson. The two of them had now easily more then 300 pounds of muscle mass.
