By now, Mathew had had time to settle down. His anger over Ashton rejecting him (violently, as his gut was still hurting) had waned, being replaced with regret. He wanted to get back at him, but now he was wondering if maybe he went too far. If Ashton really was his dream lover, why punish him for rejecting him? Assuming that Ashton was gay like him was naive, really. It was obvious now that Ashton was definitely straight. So why not use the Chronivac to make him gay, instead of punishing him for being straight? After all, it wasn't Ashton's fault that he was born that way.
Checking up on Ashton using the Chronivac program, Mathew began to panic. His heart's desire was in danger! Oh god, what had he done? According to the information the computer was giving him, Ashton was being beaten viciously, causing him to bleed even. His location placed him at a bar that Mathew knew to stay away from. What was Ashton doing there?
He had to help him. This wasn't what he wanted. He just wanted to embarrass Ashton, to get back at him for rejecting him. He didn't want any physical harm to come to him. But how could he help him?
Mathew looked at the computer, then wondered if he could transfer the Chronivac program to his tablet computer. It would certainly make it easier to use. After a moment of consideration, he went ahead and did it, and it worked.
"Hold on, Ashton," he announced aloud. "I'm on my way!" He took his tablet and the Chronivac scanner, then left his house and headed to the bar that he never thought he'd ever want to go to.
