As hot as the whole situation was, as I watched Ava panting for breath in a puddle of her own juices on the sidewalk, I couldn't help but feel just a little sympathetic for her. So, after making a quick wish to increase my strength, I reached down and picked her up, carrying her bridal style.
"Huh, wha...?" Ava muttered, still a little out of it.
"Shh, it's okay," I said, "I'm just taking you home so you can rest. I know how much this all takes out of you."
"Oh, okay," she said, eyes fluttering closed as she passed out.
I merely smirked as I walked off with her. Soon after, we reached our neighborhood, and I started to walk towards Ava's house, but then I paused. Now, I had said I would take her home, but I had never specified it would be HER home; so it wouldn't really be lying if I took her to my place for some more fun.
And of course, there was my sadistic streak resurfacing, saying it would be hilarious to just dump Ava somewhere and undo the wishes making everyone think her condition was normal. That was a temptation that was growing increasingly hard to ignore.
