I looked through the window into the world outside of the womb that held me. I leaned against the wet and moist walls of Naomi’s womb. This really went south fast. I couldn’t get it all fixed before her mother acted. I honestly do not like this. How did we not notice that her parents were a drider and a hunter? Once I get out of here and back to the council….
No…. They can’t do anything for Yukiko even if I get out and to them. That damn spell! I balled my hands into fists. If only I could get Naomi to let Yukiko go. But the more I thought about it. The more I found it to be hopeless. After what felt like ages I noticed that Naomi just finished eating dinner with her family and got up from the table to watch some TV. At least that is what it seemed like to me. “Sheena?” I heard Naomi ask me from the back of my mind. “Are you ok?”
“It’s better than being left out to die but I do not like it in here,” I told her as I touched the flesh walls of my prison.
“I’m just glad that you are alive,” Naomi responded to me. “I think I might be able to help you get home.”
“I hope you can,” I resounded. “I hope you can.”
“Do you have any ideas of how?” Naomi asked.
“I do have a few,” I admit.
