James stood politely for a while as Kayla finished her strange incantation.
"There, done" she winked mischievously at James.
"Ah, ok" James was clearly confused "So what was the trick?"
"Um, it didn't work I guess" Kayla half smiled as if she was trying to hide something which bothered James a little, but he was starting to figure that she was something of an oddball now anyway so he didn't pay too much attention.
"Right, so do you need me any more?" he asked.
"Nah, I'll probably come and find you later" she grinned back, surprisingly happy that her trick apparently hadn't worked. James couldn't help but feel like he was missing something.
"Ok, well catch you later then" James waved and removed himself from the tent, still confused by the whole experience.
