The perspective was still the same.
“Do you believe we’d fall for that?” Becca laughed at him.
Kyle looked down, his frog hands were still there, his frog feet too…he was still a frogman.
“Look at this” Samantha showed him her phone that pictured a video of the room. “You didn’t even noticed that the web-camera was on and linked to my phone. We recorded you, Kyle. And once more you proved us that your actual place in this world is like a frog!”
The picture showed him indeed slurping three crickets and enjoying them. Kyle was agape.
“You didn’t pass the test…” Becca whispered.
“This is so unfair (ribbit), we had a deal before (ribbit), you guys are mean and cruel (ribbit)”
“Becca, did you notice that the more nervous he is the more he croaks?”
The girls giggled evilly, mocking and humiliating him.
“Kyle, I’m sorry. You were not born to be a prince” and with this Becca reached for the doorbell and rang it.
The girls ran away from the porch and quickly hopped inside the car, leaving Kyle alone. He heard steps…soon the door would be opened.
