I answered “yes” right away. Of course I was going to take care of him. But I had so many questions about it. Was he ever becoming a human again? What did I need to take care of him? How could he do that? For some reason it didn’t feel like the right place and hour to pose them; I was still awed about what had happened.
“I’m a bit hungry, could you go to the fridge for me” he asked.
“Of course” I answered. I went to the fridge and opened the door, I heard him snaking in the living room, bumping against the furniture. There was nothing that a snake could eat; although a took a beer, Brad loved beer. I opened the freezer on top and found what he wanted. There was an open box of frozen mice, from a pet shop nearby. I put my hand inside and took one. He was little and fluffy, and really cold too.
I went back to the living room and Brad stuck his tongue out.
“Humm…it’s feeding time, honey” and I placed the mouse on the floor. Brad launched himself to it and devoured the mouse. It was a very awkward situation to be honest!
