Nate looked over his hands and forearms for any signs of change but none were showing yet. He looked out into the audience and then to the Madame and Stephen. He felt an itch on the top of his head and scratched it. He brought his hand down again and still nothing discernible. Wait! His fingernails seemed a bit darker and were his arms always this hairy? No, definitely not. The Madame whispered to Stephen, who disappeared backstage and a moment later reappeared, rolling out a full length mirror.
"You're looking a bit grey there Nate!" yelled out an audience member, who then began to laugh. Nate looked over to the mirror Stephen rolled over to him and was shocked to see that white, grey and streaks of black fur were growing in. It was starting to grow around his face as well, looking like light, white fuzz. His ears were growing out and flopping over, with the same shaggy, white fur growing out over them as well. His nose had turned black and canine as had his lips. He pulled back his lips and was shocked to see his teeth growing out into fangs. He cried out and backed away.
"I...I'm turning into a dog!" he cried out. He looked down at his arms and saw the same white, shaggy fur growing in as he nails darkened and grew out into claws. "But...but I don't want to be a dog!"
"Too late now, I'm afraid." replied Madame Illusia. "Try to enjoy it."
Nate stripped off his clothes, revealing a quickly reforming body covered in the same shaggy fur. He fell forward, landing on his former hands, now reformed into forepaws as his feet and body reformed into more canine proportions. The transformation finished as Nate's face pushed out into a canine snout and he was now a larger than average Old English Sheepdog. Nate let out a low whine as he looked over his newly transformed self as his friends walked up on stage to collect him to take home.
"Try to enjoy your new life as a pet Nate. I'm confident your friends will take good care of you." replied Madame Illusia. The friends hastily nodded as they returned to their seats.
The Madame then took center stage again, looking over the audience. "Now, then, who's next?"
