Dany grinned. It looked like some kind of role-playing Sim game. De-Evolution? Something set back in cave man times? Sounded like fun. He worked through the options. TARGET. Danny put in his own name, wondering if that would just set up the character file. The screen flickered, and a clear picture of his own face appeared! It must have taken a picture with the phone cam That was cool Did it do some kind of morph? TIME PERIOD? For now he left that blank.
EVOLUTIONARY TREE. As soon as he selected that option, a slider bar appeared under his photo with 'Protazoa' on one end and 'Current' on the other. The bar was all the way to the right. He tried moving it back and was startled to see his picture change. At first it was his hair style, then some subtle changes to the shape of his head and nose. About a quarter of the way to the left, his forehead began to sink in, and his features got a little coarser. Darker? He stared at the image and decided he looked more mature, but not older. More to the left, and changes got more drastic. His chin receded and his head shape sank, until it was him as a Neanderthal! This was amazing! The whole process was seamless - he could not detect any blur or pixilation in the morph. How could they do this on a phone? Going all the way to the left changed him into some kind of ape, then a smaller, rat-like thing, some sort of slimy fish thing, and finally a blob of jelly. Protazoa? He couldn't play much in that form. Sliding back, he stopped at the Neanderthal. That was a cool look. Brutish, but still recognizable as him. There was an 'ACCEPT' button - he clicked on it, and stared as the image of his face changed, like a camera was drawing back. Its topped when the full naked body of a hairy Neanderthal was displayed. Danny laughed. Obviously an adult game! Despite the small image, it was easy to see that the beastial character was well endowed. Also very squat and muscular. They'd even managed to put his Neanderthal face on it. This was like the best App he had ever seen!
He set the TIMER for an hour, hoping he could get a game in before dinner. PHYSICAL and MENTAL were both checked ON. He thought about that. How could you control mental aspects of the character? Did it somehow limit the game options? Maybe he'd try that later, but for a short game he deselected MENTAL.
He checked over the options once more, then clicked on DE-EVOLVE!
