Alice yawned as the sun shone into her face, rolling over into her pillow. The semester was over, and it was the first day of break. After finals, all she wanted to do was sleep.
A doorbell roused her from her slumber. As she dragged herself to the door, she pulled on a shirt. After seeing nobody through the peephole, she tentatively opened the door, only to find a large unmarked cardboard box.
In her tired state, her common sense was absent, and she put it down on the table. She got some coffee, and after finishing it opened the box.
Inside was a massive bronze box, decorated with rose gold and studded with sapphires and ametrine.
Inside, there was a paper. After picking it up, she surveyed the contents of the box. There were 11 orbs that looked like the planets, 11 small metal charms on a string, each with an image printed on it, four quartz crystals with colours glowing from their cores, a tiny pebble, and a ring sealed in glass.
The paper read:
You have opened the box of Pandora.
Inside are five gifts.
The orbs of the planets are to be dipped in water. When the water is drunk, it will change the user to the matching planet.
The charms of the zodiac, when rubbed, change you to match the sign.
The crystals of the elements project a beam that changes the one it touches. Fire turns them into their greatest fantasy. Water turns them into a latent desire. Earth turns them into the greatest fantasy of the one using the crystal. Wind turns them into the form that will cause them the most joy, good, and happiness.
The shift stone is to be placed into a sexual orifice. It will give the user the power to shift into anything.
Once all of the other items have been used many times, the glass will break, and the wishing ring will be yours.
