There, four miles off to your right, you can hear a group of four hunters. They're planning to shoot some elk just for the thrill of killing something and leaving the corpse to rot. Hot rage boils up inside you as you crack your knuckles together. You're not going to let these murderers get away with this. But before you run off, you formulate a plan. This will be a special kind of punishment...
Two minutes later, you're running off into the woods, faster than any Olympic sprinter could hope to run. Your paws hitting the forest floor barely make a sound as you dive in between trees and dodge obstacles . Thirty seconds later, you are four miles from your starting point. The hunters, all wearing red plaid flannels and holding rifles, are sitting around a campfire, having a smoke before going off to murder innocent animals. You watch from the shadow trees, neon green eyes glowing.
You enact the first act of your plan. You stomp your foot down and are pitched down to all fours as your body swells out and is covered in shaggy tan fur. Your muzzle pushes out further and antlers grow from your head. Your tail is sucked back into your body and you are an elk, but still with your trademark green eyes.
Your heavy breathing emits steam from your nostrils. You walk out of the trees and into the clearing. You stand just far enough away from the campfire to easily escape, but not so far as to not be seen. One of the hunters turns around and says, "Hey - there's one now!" "Aww, go get it yourself, Dave. We'll get the next few." Another hunter says. Nodding, Dave grabs his rife and starts towards you. You lean your massive head up to the night sky and make the trademark elk call, then bound off into the woods.
Dave gives chase. He's surprisingly fast as he chases after you through the trees. You dart behind a tree and quickly transform back into your demon black fox form. Dave runs past you, but stops in his tracks when he sees his quarry is gone. You sneak up behind him in the dark and grab his face, pulling it out into a muzzle. Dave is shocked and opens his new muzzle to scream, but all that comes out is an elk call. You snap your fingers, causing his clothes to disintegrate. You then tap each of his hands and feet with your paw, causing them to swell up into elk hooves. You tap his rump and a stubby tail comes out. You thump him on the back and his arms and legs lengthen and he falls until he's standing on all fours. You rub your paws all over his body, your purple tattoos glowing, as his body plumps out hugely with fat and muscle to support his new bulk. You pull his ears out and tap the top of his head, causing antlers to sprout. His entire body is covered in thick layer of shaggy black and tan fur, before you wave your paw over his eyes, causing them to dull over and turn black. You coat his entire body in magic, so that something very special will happen when he is shot.
Where Dave stood only moments ago, a huge elk stands, snorting and pawing at the ground. You lead Dave through the trees back to the clearing where the other hunters are. You make yourself invisible to them and sit back to watch the show. "That crazy bastard - Dave let the elk get away!" One hunter yells. All three of the hunters jump to their feet, raise their guns, and fire at the elk Dave now was.
Soon, the night air is full of grunts and screams and the sounds of ripping clothing. You watch from the trees in delight as the other three hunters' bodies swell out, becoming covered in shaggy fur, have anthers sprout, and fall to all four hooves. Soon, three confused elk stand around the campfire in a pile of ripped clothing. You come back out of the trees and pick up Dave's dead elk body like it was a pipe cleaner. You drop it into the fiery pits of hell and watch as the ground closes up.
The other three former hunters each give an elk call then walk way into the woods. You sit down at the campfire and help yourself to their beer and smokes, happy that the new elks will have to wait seven years until they die of natural causes, then all human thoughts will be returned to them as they enter hell.
