"Hey Ben, what's the big surprise?" Adam hollered as he entered Ben's house.
Outside the house Ben lifted his head as the sound of his name triggered something deep within his now doggy brain. Barking once and wagging his big tail he then returned to sniffing through the trash.
"The big surprise seems to be that Ben's skipped out on us," Wes called from the bedroom. Again Newfoundland Ben raised his head and gave a quick bark then went back to rummaging around in the garbage.
"Hey, Wes, good to see you," Adam said as he walked into Ben's bedroom. He and Adam gave each other a warm hug. "What do you mean he's skipped out on us?" Adam asked as Wes sat back down again.
"Just that I haven't seen him since I got here," replied Wes as he resumed looking at the computer screen. "Real weird of him to ask us over here and then to leave like that. Almost as weird as this website."
"Ah, he probably went out to get some six packs or something." Wes peered over Adam's shoulder. "What's so weird about it?"
"It says it's some kind of morph program. Can't be real, though. You only find that on those TF fiction pages. Still..."
"What?"
"Well, the last thing on this page is about a dog morph and there's that big dog outside and Ben's not here..."
Standing up straight, Adam started laughing. "Wes, come on! You think that dog outside is Ben?"
Ben's sensitive hearing heard his name again. He barked once more as his doggy brain figured that he ought to go and see why he was being called. Wagging his tail he trotted back into the house.
"Yeah, I guess that's just too crazy," Wes said as he turned around in the chair and looked up at Wes. "You're probably right, Ben must have gone out to pick up some beer."
Ben poked his head around the bedroom door and barked. At the sound Adam and Wes looked at the big dog then at each other, their eyes going wide. They then looked back and stared at the Newfoundland for a moment before Adam finally found his voice. "Ben?" Wagging his tail and bounding over to the blond bodybuilder, Ben jumped onto his hind legs and placed his forepaws on Adam's chest. It was all Adam could do to keep his footing as he got several slobbery licks from doggy Ben.
"Wes, get this mutt offa me!" yelled Wes as he twisted his head from side to side trying to avoid Ben's drippy tongue.
Adam stood and watched for another moment. Shaking his head and muttering to himself that it just wasn't possible, he sat back down at the computer and clicked on the "Increase Change" option. After filling in the option with a zero, Adam hit enter and turned his attention back to Ben and Adam.
As the program started to work, Ben felt the familiar tingle. A glazed look came over his face, his tail wagging slowly.
Ben dropped back down onto all fours as Adam and Wes watched in fascination at the changes. In seconds the Newfoundland Ben had transformed back into the human, and quite naked, Ben. Shaking his head as his mind returned to normal he looked up at Wes and Adam and chuckled. "Hope you don't mind me being dressed so casually, guys."
"Like we ever mind seing you naked," Adam says as he and Wes helped Ben back up onto his feet.
