"You look pretty hot like this. Just a trace of hair starting, obviously a young man but still holding on to your boyhood. You can pass for anything from 16 to your mid-20s."
I grinned, remembering my reflection. "Yeah, this is a great look."
"So, keep it." Runt grinned. "Let me give you eternal youth. That way you don't have to worry about grey hair, wrinkles, or any of that other stuff that goes with getting older."
I sat up, startled. "You can do that?" Then I flushed. The guy had just altered my whole reality. Still, eternal youth seemed pretty wild. "Sure! But won't that be a problem as time passes? I mean, I'm not going to pass for 30. Heck, even 25 would be pushing it."
"Things will start to slip. Being 19 is great, since you have some independence. You'll just have graduated the year before. So, in 2020, you'll have graduated in 2019. Records and other stuff will change every year."
I frowned. "What about my family and friends?"
Runt shrugged. "Your parents will have had you later in life, then adopted you, become your grandparents. Friends will start to think of you as another friend's kid brother, then somebody's son or grandson. It's not great for long-term relationships, but you'll get new friends backfilling as each set outgrows you."
That sounded like it could get lonely, but it could also be fun. "So you could put me back in high school like I am?"
Runt chuckled. "Oh, definitely. Make you a Junior or Senior, and you'll have most of the school in love with you. More limiting, though. Once everyone thinks of you as being 17, no longer a legal adult, you can't do some stuff. On the other hand, you would probably be allowed to get away with a lot more." He thought a moment. "Your money would have to be in a trust fund, with limited payouts."
I thought it over. I already knew I was not going back to my old life. This new look was fantastic, and with financial independence, there was almost nothing I couldn't do. And that was not even using Runt's magic. I grinned. "Well, I guess I want to..."
