Your journey begins

added 7 years ago O

The next morning you wake up, softly yawning as you first think it was all a dream. Then you realize it wasn't. You really were in some fantasy world stuck as a demon with a weird snake penis. You were a demon, hated by anything good. Could you even go home? Would you return to human form? Could this "white mage" even help you?

All these questions fill your mind... and then you smell the scent of cooked eggs. Questions could wait, you were hungry. You put on the clothes donated to you and walk downstairs.

Graven, was there cooking some eggs on a primitive looking stove. A small fire providing the heat bake the eggs to perfection.

Graven instead of his armour was simply wearing a light tunic with a pair of brown trousers. He sees you and simply motions you to sit down on one of the table chairs.

"Good morning, did you get a good rest?" Graven asks, speaking not out of kindness or consideration but to simply strike up a conversation.

You nod, as he puts a plate of scrambled eggs, cooked vegetables, and a strip of jerky. You dig in quickly and listen to Graven as he speaks.

"Good to see you can eat, anyway here's what you'll have to do, you'll need go north and travel to a town called Redbelt, there you'll need to travel onto the east road and eventually make your way to the mage's home. He'll think of you as a threat but he is a good friend of mine, his name is Enven Laxerious, simply tell him the words "Six Petals" and he'll trust you."
Graven explains quickly, it seems like he's trying to get you out of his hair as quickly as possible, not that you blame him.

"I can't guarantee he'll be able to cure you but he's the only white mage close to this location. I've already packed you supplies that'll last about two weeks, four if you try to conserve it. Good luck my friend. I've also packed you a dagger as well, nothing impressive but if you ever get into a fights it's better than nothing."

After finishing your food you say "Thank you Graven, it's really means a lot that'll you helped me as much as you did today."

Graven smiles but his face quickly becomes stern once more. "Before you go here's a word of advice. Demons are incredibly cruel creatures, even to their own kind, if you meet a demon chances are they'll either make you their slave or kill you outright. Sadly in your case, divine priests and demon slayers won't be so kind to you either. It's a harsh world and you'll be on your own for a while."

You nod, and you begin to gather all of your things. Your hood concealing most of your muzzle and face, you wave goodbye to Graven and his home for quite possibly forever. You were alone with only yourself to trust, possibly not even that. Will your mind follow you body and become demonic? Only time will tell. Right now you needed to get to Redbelt.

You started traveling north, using the compass that was in your bag, Graven had never told you the distance to Redbelt but you figured that it couldn't be too far away.

Despite the monstrosity that your body has become, physically it is a massive improvement. Your reaction speed was quicker, your body both fast and strong, your sight and hearing were both highly advanced and your sense of smell was incredible. You almost seemed to see different scents as colors almost. Maybe this wasn't that bad. You didn't want to be a demon forever though.

You made sure to travel beneath the shadows of the trees beside the road. If any other travelers came by you didn't want to be caught. Especially if they were demon hunters, you've seen how fast Graven was and from the looks of it he seemed to simply be a local demon hunter as well. You'd hate to ever meet any of the advanced ones.

What kind of magic they used you wondered. Was it the stereotypical kind of magic you've seen in movies with fireballs and turning people into toads or something else?

You keep thinking until it slowly turns from morning to afternoon, Still no town at sight as you begin to make camp a small distance from the road. Your feet sore you sit down on a fallen log and begin making a minor campfire. It takes you a couple of times but you managed to ignite a small spark, feeding it slowly until it became a tiny fire, glowing dimly in the darkening sky.

Sat down, not sure what to do, you didn't want to risk taking off even some of your clothes you could possibly become aroused again and that wouldn't be any good. Perhaps you can try and fall asleep? No, it was way to early for that.

You sigh in frustration and you lay uncomfortably on the log, your white fur blowing gently in the wind.
