You turn toward the other funhouse mirrors, and that’s when you notice what appears to be a window situated near two of the room’s corner end mirrors. You walk over to it without trying to look at all into the other mirrors. When you reach it, you feel somewhat satisfied that you didn’t turn into something else equally annoying or just plain wrong for you. Maybe now, you can use this window to get out of this place and perhaps find someone at the carnival who could change you back into your 20 year old male self.
Looking at the window, you notice that you somehow have attracted the attention of a large, handsome Old English Sheepdog, possibly someone pet’s. You bend down to greet it and find yourself dropping to all fours before it. Your whole body compresses and contorts into something completely different. But you aren’t entirely sure what because you got something thick and shaggy and white covering your eyes. And for some strange reason, you also feel like someone has covered you from head to toe in a thick fur coat. Realization then dawns upon you as you realize that you weren’t looking through a window, but into another mirror. Your experience in this funhouse has proven to be a bitch. For now you are an Old English Sheepdog. Though at least you are now a male again. You turn to admire your shaggy bear-like haunches and wag your docked tail. You make one huggable bear of dog, you think and without another thought begin to shuffle toward the exit. The thought of finding yet another mirror to turn you back to your former self dwindling the closer you get to the exit. Not that looking into another mirror is going to help you when you can’t even see that well with the fur in the way. You are starting to feel oddly content being an Old English Sheepdog. And hopeful too because maybe the caretaker will allow you to stay at his place. The guy could sure use a dog like you for company.
