The King of All Dragons led Damon Blackfire into a huge
research facility where Damon Blackfire saw table after
table of fossilized human skeletons.
Damon Blackfire was of course unaware of the process of
fossilization,and the King explained that he and his fellow
dragons actually came from the far distant future
( about 99 million years in Damon Blackfire's future.
"and this is what human bones turn into,stone" said the King
Damon Blackfire wasn't buying it,until the King led him to one
particular fossilized human skeleton in particular.
It was the skeleton of a human woman,with the fossilized remains of a
"creature" sitting where the female human's womb would be.
Now Damon Blackfire had undergone many tf's in his short life,as\well
as quite a few spills and falls,resulting in fractures and broken bones.
So Damon Blackfire quickly recognized the healed fractures and breaks
in the fossilized female human skeleton that corresponded with injuries
he himself had suffered.
OK,Damon would die as a human woman sometime in the near future.
No big deal.
It was the fossilized " creature" however that unnerved
Damon Blackfire.
He turned to the King and the King explained it was from a species that
would be the mortal enemies of Dragons 99 million years hence.
Big bad Night Mares,parasites that in the future went about reshaping
the bodies of their victims into big snorting horned red eyes
demon horses from Hell.
