Now what the Dragon Queen had never told the Dragon King was the true fate of
fate of her twin sister.
Way in the future when the Dragon King was still a prince, over whom
all the various dragon princess's competed for attention,the War between
Dragon and Nightmare had been over by about 99,000 dragon generations
and the Night Mares seemed to be extinct.
So when the Dragon Prince noticed (Future Queen)Dragon Prince # 1 and Princess Allyssara,there was rivallry between the two princees's
and it didn't end well.
Basically the future Queen found a long lost Night Mare research facility and had tricked her twin sister into coming into the
forbidden building and the two Dragons had been amazed that Night Mares were no bigger than horses.
All the old tales had spoken of a enemy as big as Dragons.
Hence Princess Allysarra hadn't been as cautious as she aught to have been
and the future Dragon Queen stabbed her rival for the Future King
with Night Mare Extract # 99.
Needless to say a writhingm,roaring,screeching and finally
neighing Princess Allysara had shed a awful lot besides her wings,
firebreath and scales.
A evilly cackling had left the stunned new Night Mare in the facility and
went off to claim the prince for herself.
Now the Night Mare formerly known as Princess Allysara was only a
Night Mare in body and not in mind and had finally managed
to escape the facility,but only after she'd activated the
Self Destruct Omni Bomb.
"Boom " went the last bit of nasty Night Mare technology
and appeared Princess Allysarra would end up being the first and last
of Night Mare v2.
Then came the Wedding Announcement of the upcoming
marriage of Dragon Prince and Dragon Princess # 1 and the
Night Mare formerly know as Princess Allyssara really wanted,nay needed,to be a dragon princess again.
So ,knowing that their mutual brother was a apprentice
Dragon Mage,the diminutive Night Mare had made contact
with him and explained the situation.
The apprentice Dragon Mage had explained the reverse tf
back into a dragoness could only be done with the forbidden Night Mare technology,such as that found in the destroyed facility.
There just happened to be another Night Mare reseach facility
around,and so the horse sized Night Mare and the elephant sized apprentice
Dragon Mage had entered it and tried to reverse
Princess Allyssara's transformation.
The apprentice Dragon Mage had watched in fascination as the
Night Mare began to grow in size,getting bigger and bigger as she grew even bigger then a Dragon.The facility began to fall apart as the
Mother of Night Mares achieved her true size.
What the apprentice Dragon Mage didn't know was that this
time not only did her body change,but her mind did as well
as her Night Mare instincts awakened.Without warning
Allyssarra the Night Mare lashed out at the smaller Dragon and
stung him with the Night Mare barb that lay hidden in her horse like tail.
Within minutes the first of the Night Mare drones emerged from her
Dragon shell and awaitted ordered from her Night Mare Queen.
So began the return of the Night Mares,bigger and badder then ever.

So it was that the Dragon King led Damon Blackfire and about
50 other former humans who had been turned into Dragons ( note
none of them from the future) to the plains well away from where the future Dragons dwelled,to do battle with Night Mares.
The Dragon King explained to the 51 medievel Dragon s that they'd whip them Night Mares no problem.
The Dragon King really got Damon Blackfire and his army
worked up,wished them well and made and excuse for him and his fellow future Dragon advisorts to depart the scene.
Perhaps 9 minutes after the departure of the Dragon King,with the silence becoming ominous,did
Damon Blackfire and his fellow medievel Dragons begin to wonder just how big a Night Mare was.The Dragon King had told them Night Mare drones were slightly bigger then Dragons,but one Dragon was worth
ten Night Mares.
Then the portal opened and Damon Blackfire and his fellows got their first look as the first Night Mares dropped through the time portal with a screeching neigh and charged the startled medievel Dragons.
She didn't even seem to notice the windmill she'd just knocked over.
The Dragon King from the future had lied to them.
