With a wave of her hand, Morgan sent out a wave of purple light. Before any of the 'parents' could do anything, the light hit them and caused to freeze in place. Except for Bobby. He reflexively held up his hands to protect his face and he could see his rings glow as the light touched him. And yet, he found he could still move afterwards.
Morgan pursed her lips and said, "It seems my 'father' is not so easily immobilized."
"Not by his own power," said Nimue dismissively, "His rings protect him. Take them and he's as vulnerable as any other mortal." Her hand glowed orange and Bobby could feel his fingers being tugged forward as the rings move a little, but not nearly enough to take them off.
"Those rings can't removed by magic. No matter, his hands can come off easily," said Mordred before a sword of red energy appeared in his hand.
Bobby panicked and yelled the first thing that came to mind, "I wish you would all freeze!" The rings gave a brief flash and the three mages froze in place. But Bobby was very certain they wouldn't be stopped for long. He tried to unfreeze the others, but it looked like Morgan's spell was stronger than he was.
Bobby tried to think of what to do, but he had very few options. He didn't know much about Morgan le Fay other than her famous enmity with Merlin. It seemed like Merlin was the only one who had the power to stop them. If nothing else, Bobby had to warn him about his enemies returning. He quickly got dressed and started out. He stopped by his frozen friends and said, "I'll be back to rescue you, I promise." But he could see the mages were slowly starting to move and he quickly headed out the door. He had to get back to the mall and Merlin's magic shop as soon as he can.
