So it was that Lesily decided to take Katie into the future when the
Earth would likely be destroyed.
Out they stepped from the time portal and nine years into the future
Disneyland.
It was the year 2025 and a 33 mile across asteroid hurtling at
10,000 km/hr to do to smack into the Earth any day now.
Not surprisingly the scientists had figured out that not only was all life going
to go extinct but the Earth itself would go extinct as the impact would blow away the Earth's crust and cause the dying planet to spew out its
innards into outer space and shrivel up like a rotting orange.
This was one planetary tf not even the furries were too happy about.
Now rumours had been swirling for months that three quarters of a century earlier this self same asteroid had narrowly passed Earth.
The rumours said that Walt Disney had proceeded to build a huge
"Ark" rocketship where Disneyland would later be built.
The Castle was reputed to be built over the entrance tunnels leading to
the Ark.Only the Chosen would be allowed aboard the Ark by
Disney employees,and Chosen needed to wear the Sign of their Faith.
Well after three quarters of a century the Chosen were getting a bit old.
However they rummaged in their trunks and closets,pulled out the Mouse
ears and after putting them on,shuffled on toward Disneyland and the
rocket Ark.
