Nate looked around his house, wandering aimlessly as he noticed it was getting darker outside. His bite wound started to itch and bother him so he walked into the bathroom. He pulled off his t-shirt and tossed it aside. He stood in the front of the mirror for a moment and was surprised at his hairy chest. He was normally quite hairless but now it was quite the opposite with a thin layer of hair forming over his admittingly flabby chest. Nate turned his attention back to the wound and slowly removed the bandages. As he did he was shocked to find that the wound was almost completely healed. Maybe the attack wasn't as bad as I thought, Nate thought to himself.
He tossed the bandages away and walked back into his bedroom. He casually looked over his bookshelf and his collection of DVDs and then laid down on his bed. He ran his fingers through his chest hair, concerned and wondering where it had come from all of a sudden. He caught sight of his forearm and held it up. It was hairier too. He sat up in alarm and looked at the other one too, seeing they matched. Just moments ago, they were previously hairless. And he knew for a fact his nails were longer too. His heart started beating in a panic now as he felt an itch on his face and reached up to find it felt fuzzy too.
He stood up and ran to the bathroom, flipping on the light. He walked in front of the large mirror over the sink and his jaw dropped in shock to see the same hairs growing in around his face. Then he noticed something else. He leaned in closer and pulled his lips back. His teeth were growing out into fangs. He leaned back and knew what this meant. As a lifelong horror aficionado, Nate started to jump up and down in excitement. It was a full moon and he was turning into a werewolf. He looked back to the mirror and watched the changes with rapt excitement. He watched as his ears grew to points and his nails grew into sharp claws. Then it dawned on him, I can't let my parents see me like this! They'll freak out.
He made his way through his bedroom but stopped and leaned against the doorframe as the first big change hit him as his back muscles began to grow and reform. His cries from the pain started to turn to growls. As it subsided, he quickly made his way down the hall, towards the living room. He made it all the way to the dining room when the next change hit him as his chest started to barrel out. Every inch of his skin felt on fire as more hairs rapidly grew out, creating an impressively furry body. Nate forced himself towards the door. He slid open the door and stepped out into the cool night air, sliding the door behind him. He promptly fell to his knees on the concrete patio as the transformation intensified. The security lights flipped on, lighting the scene in a harsh white light. The seams of his blue jeans ripped and tore as his legs and feet reformed. The transformation concluded as his face pushed out into a lupine snout and his pointed ears moved to the top of his head. The new werewolf let out a howl and dashed into the night, loose in the middle of suburbia.
