All three of you walk through the door, and brace yourselves for what comes next. Surprisingly, nothing happens. You walk around the kitchen, looking for food and traps. After about ten minutes of searching, you all sit down to rest. You and Camille eat some food that you found lying around while Sarah floats nearby, holding a frying pan. After eating, you and Camille lie down, and begin to talk.
"So, what'd you do to owe the Sorcerer so much that you had to live in this castle?", you say. After a moment, she takes a deep breath and says "One day I was in a bar with what was then my boyfriend. We were drinking, eating, having a good time. Well, we just happened to have the bad luck of being in the same bar that owed the Sorcerer a substantial debt. That night he blew the door off of its hinges, and came in demanding his money. Well, the bar owner claimed that he wasn't due until a few days later, causing the Sorcerer to get very angry. He burnt a hole through the owner's head, and proceeded to go on a killing spree. Everyone tried to escape, but were instantly incinerated by him. After a few minutes of hell, there was just me, my boyfriend, a few others, and Him. He had us all line up and state what our professions were, if we had any. He turned the first few who were peasants into puddles of goo before he reached me. After telling him I was a witch, he passed by, going to my boyfriend. I watched as the Sorcerer killed him, because he was a librarian. Apparently making sure public books aren't important to him, but that's beside the point. He killed everyone else, and brought me here with all the others who owed him or were part of his rage."
You both sit there in an awkward silence. You hear her slide over to you, cuddling up against you. You look at her and see the beginnings of tears in her eyes, and give her a hug. She begins to cry, but you hold onto her aanyway because that's the right thing to do. After her crying dies down, you notice that she fell asleep. You look up to see that Sarah was sitting on the table in front of you, and say "You know, maybe I can save more than one person on this quest." Sarah smiles and floats down to the spot next you and says "I believe that you can, my knight in shining armor." She smirks a little before lying down and leaning on you, making you right shoulder feel cool.
You look at the two girls leaning against you before falling asleep. the next morning, you wake up to hear skittering and scratching. Nudging the other two awake, you get ready for a fight. You walk around the table quietly to see the source of the noise, only to see...
