“Good Morning. Its six am here in at KPXX; broadcasting here in Moon Lake. I’m Jason McPhill, filling in for Crazy Crabby Camellia; who is on maternity leave. As her on-air producer, I have the great pleasure to inform you all, that Crabby Cammy will be back tomorrow. The big news for this Thursday morning is snow! Yes we have snow on the ground, and quite the dusting we received last night. Meteorologist estimated a good four inches fell last evening. Whether it will stay or not is anyone’s guess. Now let’s head back to some music to start your day. Now it might not be Friday just yet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t yearn for it by listening to The Cure’s Friday I’m Love.”
Lance quietly shuts off the alarm clock Lila brought over as he lies in the hospital bed. Feeling Lila snuggle next to him as Lance starts to get up; finding out he wasn’t bi-polar was a big relief for him and Lila. ‘Now I just have to worry about getting our cubs tested when the time is ready,’ Lance stretching. Placing his digitigrade paws on the cold hospital floor; Lance shivers as he steps towards the bathroom, only to be stopped. Turning around, Lance sees Lila smiling as she has a paw grabbing on his tail.
“Up so soon?” Lila purring; “come back to bed so we can snuggle some more.”
“I can’t,” Lance sighing; “Statue 1A trial today. And can you please let go off my tail? I need to pee.”
“I was thinking,” Lila getting up as she lets Lance head to use the toilet; “What if I bagged work and spent the entire day with you at the council building?”
“Won’t you lose your job,” Lance answering?
“Not if you personally summon me to the council,” Lila behind Lance; hugging him as he relieves himself.
Lance shakes his head as he flushes the toilet; letting Lila use it next. “Speaking of jobs,” Lance quickly defurring from his were-panther form; “I need to do a complete financial audit on all of Knight Media. Starting with KPXX.”
“You want me to be your bean counter,” Lila walking out to see her boyfriend getting dressed; “Why ask me?”
“Because of what HR told me yesterday regarding a few irregularities with the budget. Plus I had to fire my station director; caught him having sex with his secretary.”
“You suspect fraud,” Lila commenting as she puts on a pair of jeans and tight tanktop with sandals.
“You’re wearing that,” Lance asks; “its cold outside, plus there is snow on the ground.”
“I won’t be wearing it for long,” Lila grins; “As soon as we enter the council building, I’m going back to being furry.”
Lance chuckles at the were-tigress that is his girlfriend; “going back to my issues with KPXX; I do suspect some financial skullduggery, but would like proof to confirm my suspicions. Will you look at the books?”
“I suppose,” Lila smiles as she grabs hers and Lance’s belongings; “but first breakfast.”

Benton woke first; despite always waking up before the start of the opening bell of trading in NYSE; Benton slept in for the first time in long while. With his wife lying on top of him purring softly as she slept; Benton couldn’t help but grin. Last night was the most fun he had in a long while. Staring at his wife in her gray fur were-panthress glory; Benton smiles as he lovingly strokes her furry head.
Stirring from her slumber; Amanda sighs as she feels Benton waking her up.
“Morning,” Amanda purring; “sleep well?”
Benton just smiles as his wife starts getting up.
“That dopey grin of yours,” Amanda staring at Benton; “suggests you did.”
Staring at his wife; Benton wraps an arm around her and drags her back to him, “don’t go just yet. Let’s snuggle some more.”
Amanda chuckles, “fun as that may be; we both have to start our days. You got work waiting for you while I got a Christmas party to plan.”
“Let’s have a quiet Christmas this year,” Benton letting his wife go; “just you me and Frieda.”
“Your forgetting husband,” Amanda stretching; “Anton and Esmerelda are visiting today, plus your brother Lance.”
“And his girlfriend,” Benton getting up to stretch.
“Lance has a girlfriend,” Amanda looking stunned; “how did they meet?”
“They met at the elder council,” Benton following his wife to the master bathroom; “of all places.”
“Let me guess,” Amanda looking at her husband; “she is some ugly were-horse that just wants to get in with the Knight name.”
“No,” Benton shaking his head; “Lance’s girlfriend is a were-tigress. It was love at first sight or something along those lines. I’ll let Lance tell you when we all get together.”
Minutes later Benton and Amanda walk into the kitchen to get some coffee; still in their were-panther fursonas and feeling comfortable in being furry. Amanda smelling the leftover roast beef, growls as the smell puts her off.
“I think the meat has turned Benton, You should of put it in the fridge.”
Benton smelling the roast beef also turns his muzzle up in disgust; “I think your right.” Grabbing the leftover meat; Benton quickly tosses it out side. Looking at Amanda, Benton just shrugs his shoulders; “the coyotes will scavenge it real quick.”
Amanda shakes her head as the coffee machine finishes brewing. Both pouring themselves a cup; they sit in silence for a bit. Benton is the first to speak up.
“I’m not sure I’ll be able to bet anything done in the office,” Benton sighs; “not while worrying over Frieda at having to testify today over the statue 1A charges Julie is accused of.”
“Perhaps breakfast will break you out of your doldrums,” Amanda getting up; “Not just coffee.”
“That would be great,” Benton answering; “but neither of us knows how to use the stove.”
“Got to learn some time,” Amanda fishing through the fridge for some bacon and eggs.
