Abby and her friends were rather surprised about the reaction to Animalia from the wider world. But there still was some questions unanswered.
"That's all fine and dandy, but it can't be the only reason you called us here." Said Abby, apprehensivel.
"I also learned about the party you were planning to have while you're parents were away, Sarah." Said Clara, eyes twinkling more.
"Oh?" Asked Sarah, but in her mind she said, "Oh, no! Busted!"
"I approve," said Clara, "as long as you hold it at the Great Hall when you do so."
"What!? But whyyyyy?" Whined Malice.
"Because it is going to be a community getting-to-know-you party for both Lyre and Animalia." Answered Clara.
"What does that involve?" Asked Abby.
"It includes a potluck dinner (with dishes labeled so carnivores and herbivores know which ones are safe) and a chance for conversation between guests; a chance for pet owners to reunite with uplifted pets, and possibly join them if they wish, as long as they fill out the required paperwork; give a chance for our uplifted zoo animals to meet people outside their cages on peaceful terms; and also allow our guests to use the pool, weight room, and gymnasium for health purposes, as well as the theater for a minor talent show just for fun."
"So we're not going to be in trouble?" Asked Sarah, somewhat relieved, though not by much.
"As long as you remember to ask your parents to get a dish ready for the dinner before they leave." Said Clara. But when she saw that there was some visible signs of relief on their faces, Clara added, rather impishly, "I should mention that there will be several Chaperones present, Mr. Williams and Marlysa included, to make sure no underage hanky-panky happens."
"What!? Whyyyyy?" Whined Malice again.
"To make sure nobody, especially not you and Sarah, come home with a bellyful of pups." Said Clara mischievously, "Though such a thing won't be possible when closer to autumn." She quickly said when Malice let out a squawk of indignation, while the others became more embarrassed.
