I stumble out of the cramped bus, second to last of all the passengers... I knew this would be popular, but jeez - that was absolutely unbelievable. And still, there are busses with even more people?! With that huge of a traffic, I'd best find the cabin I'll be sleeping in.
My name is Robin - 17 years old, redhead... Not the most social girl around, to be honest, I'm kind of shy around most people... My plans for this little vacation is to get some inspiration - I'm an artist! ...Or an inspiring one, at least... Still, there are rumors of animals acting really strangely around this area, so that's also got me curious...
Dressed casually, I tossed on a white t-shirt with a red button-up over it, a pair of sandals and some black shorts. It isn't the wars day of the summer, several clouds blocking out the sun every now and then.
It's a pretty average cabin, four to five people a cabin. And, even more concerning...
"Man, I get to share a house with a beauty like you?" A brass voice interrupts me from my inner monologue. Turning around, I'm faced with a tall, yet skinny man. Say for a pair of torn, black jeans and a pair of sneakers, he's not wearing anything, it seems. His hair, deep black and pulled back. He definitely has a punk-like vibe to him...
"I, uh..." Before I can even answer properly, somebody else walks in - the door wive open after that other guy entered.
"My... The cabins are unisex?" A feminine, yet moderately deep voice asks. From behind the man, another woman reveals herself. Seemingly in her early twenties. Hair hair swirly and blonde, blue eyes and a deep red dress much too fancy for something like this.
"This must be my lucky day or somethin'." The guy speaks again, a grin on his face. "Well, ladies, name's Jeffrey, but you can just call me Jeff." He introduces himself, pulling of a nonchalant look.
"It's a pleasure." The lady responds, flashing him an obviously fake smile. "My name is Charlotte. I hope we'll get along."
And that only leaves me... For a couple of seconds, I debate on how to do this... Just be casual? Add some extra flair...? I can feel both of their gazes locked on me.
"I...I'm Robin. It's a p-pleasure!" With an overexaggerated nod, and a few too many stutters, I manage to blurt it out.
"How cute... A bit shy aren't we?" It's as if Charlotte is trying to rub it in...
After a few minutes or so, the two others arrive. Firstly, there's Arthur: He claims to be 16, though he looks like puberty just ignored him. For his young look, he's also very short-tempered, as Jeffrey quickly learned. Brown, neatly-kept hair, a dark green hoodie with black sweat pants and a pair of rubber boots. He says that he wants to become a vet...
Charlotte's first impression didn't lie. Apparently, she's from a really well-off family, and is going to inherent her father's bank. While she does act nice, she doesn't seem to care too much about the rest of us.
Jeffrey, or Jeff, is a writer - focusing on action-heavy plots and big mechas... And, while never stating it, he's clearly the kind of guy who doesn't care what others think of him... And his constant remarks are...embarrassing.
Finally, Nina. She's 18, the athletic type. Short, dark brown hair and tanned skin. From what I've gathered, she's a rather serious person. Not once has she laughed - or even smiled at any jokes so far...not that they're that great, either. She's wearing a pair of green cargo pants and a white tank top with a pair of white sneakers.
Using what time we have before the actual events begin, we sit down around the table in the cabin.
"Now... I suggest that we get to know each other." Charlotte suggests, clapping her hands together. Soon after, Arthur speaks up.
"Anybody got pets? ...Or a favorite animal?" He asks, waiting for somebody to give a response.
