While the doctor busied himself examining the bull, Mr. Peace looked at his new app again. It was flashing, but now it offered the another option besides restore, it offered the option of modify. He flicked on it. Instantly two columns appeared on his phone. One was clearly the bull. The other belonged to some young 20 year old named Bryan. Mr. Peace bit his tongue, as he wondered. An intelligent, sentient bull would mean less hands he would have to pay, and if this thing worked. He looked Zeke up and down, he might make some nice horse flesh or maybe a bull or cow. Hm, the tutorial guide seemed incredible, but apparently, that Bryan guy had used a Chronivac to turn himself into Mr. Peace's new bull. Well, Mr. Peace wasn't about to lose a prize bull. So he didn't restore, but he did select modify. He smiled, as he adjusted the settings, only he would be aware that the changes weren't normal. He left Bryan hung like a bull, but turned him into a minotaur with a slightly distorted but recognizable human face.
"Oh, that hursh," moaned the bull-man.
The vet didn't think anything of it. He patted Bryan's now broad neck, and said, "There, there, boy. We'll finish the exam, and ring your nose in no time at all."
Zeke was staring at the bull's face. He pursed his lips. "You know this guy looks kinda familiar?"
"Z-zeke?" Bryan moaned.
"Yeah, cowboy?"
"Technically, he's a bull-man," the vet corrected, "A cow boy would have an udder."
Mr. Peace grinned, and imagined Zeke with an udder. He tweaked Bryan's mental features, and the concept of the Chronivac became a vague and distant memory.
"I gotta do some research," Mr. Peace said, as he left the barn, "You all finish up here."
