It began when I made her clothes disappear

The Fountainhead

"Jeez" said Logan, snuggled up next to Allison "I do not believe it. Cyril is now some leather dyke dom? And Manny, excuse me Amanda, is her sub? Going to make it difficult to put the squad back together."

"That's kind of a lost cause anyway." answered Allison. "Kira's under five feet now, and I don't think she has much interest in athletics anymore, or Amanda does either. I think your idea of joining the girl's team is better than trying to put the old team back."

Logan's eyes rolled to the picture of the old squad tacked up on his wall, particularly focusing on his male self and Alan, both of whom were raising their fists in exultation. The picture had been taken after the victory over the traditional rival, Polk High. Allison followed his glance, and they both were quiet for a moment.

"We were the best boy's team our school ever had" said Logan "and now we always will be."

Elizabeth found her first experience as sexual aggressor satisfying. Taking a mock-protesting wife while snarling like an angry she-wolf helped release some of the pent-up tensions since the great change. At first she was mostly putting on an act, but after a few minutes and Robbie's enthusiasm for the role of shy and helpless maiden she was really getting into it.

She had to admit, however, that when Robbie started whispering (they both really didn't want to wake up Billie) "Mommy, mommy" it threw her off her game a bit.

"I wish" said Greta "that I could meet the person or force that gave this ring its power."

An old woman appeared, radiating a power and confidence that far exceeded even Greta's when she was wielding the power of the ring. She cocked her head and smiled. "Well, that took you long enough!" she laughed.

Tiffany looked at her beautiful, curvy body in the mirror and thought "Be careful what you wish for, because sometimes you get it."

All of what she had done--telling first her mom, then her dad, that their son, the pride and joy of their lives, was actually their daughter. Dealing with the seemingly endless crap when she first showed up at school dressed appropriately for who she really was. The bathroom nightmares. The surging joy on her first ingestion of estrogen. The quiet pride when she saw her first detectable swelling in the chest area. The name change.

Everything that the last five years of her life had been about. None of it seemed to mean anything when a force with all the selectivity of a hurricane had remade the world and everyone in it. Now everyone--cis, trans, even FTM as she knew from a couple of people from the support group which no longer met--had the beautiful female body she had dreamed of for herself. And everyone, even Steve and Mike, seemed happy with it. And of course, everyone figured she must be overjoyed.

And in some ways she was. Just the fact that "it" was gone, without painful and expensive surgery, felt like a miracle. And the fact that she could now do what she had always dreamed of and always knew was impossible, have a baby of her own, the fruit of her own body, nursed by her own breasts, was somewhere beyond miraculous.

And yet, having the central purpose of your life taken away in a moment, and the central thing that made you, if not precisely unique, at least different from 99% of the population, taken away with it--that left an emptiness. She had heard older trans women talk about the empty feeling when your transition had gone as far as it could or you wanted it to go, and your life had to be about something else, but at least those women had not been taken by surprise.

Just another girl, Tiffany thought, just another girl in the girl kingdom. I should be happier than I am. Yet if I could turn the clock back before the Great Change, I would not.

Rather than immediately acting, Regina used her learning to try to understand why the world was dying, why its magical and vital energies had become corrupted.

Aziza tried to nourish the few life sparks remaining, not curious at first as to why there were so few.

Dani introduced the girl who had skated up to them. "Grandma, this is my friend Tiffany. Tiffany, this is my grandmother Julia."

"Nice to meet you, Tiffany. Well, I'll let you two catch up. See you soon, Dani." Julia winked at her granddaughter, and mouthed "good luck." Then she skated off.
