Ray decided for them. As the women continued to argue, they were completely unaware of the child that grew beside them and the room changing around them.
A f ew moments later, they heard someone clear their throat.
"Ladies?"
"Who said that?" Janice said, and then saw a young man in a nice suit standing by watching them.
"Me of course, Ray," the young man replied.
"Well, you turned out just fine," Tina remarked and grinned hungrily.
Janice did notice this and gave her a knowing look.
"Tina dear, that is my son,though how he grew up when we weren't looking I am not quite sure."
"Simple mother dear, although you have primarily the power to make people older, and I can make people younger--we both can for a short time do the other to ourselves and others--but you can make people older for much longer and I can do the same where regression is concerned."
"I have learned this only has to do with time and age."
"That is correct, and with age related concerns, clothing, style, accessories, and you will learn the rest as you go."
Tina leaned closer to Ray, stroking his cheek and purring, and Janice pulled her away and toward the door.
"He is still my son," she replied.
"But he is older," Tina shot back. "Hey, how old are you now?"
"I am 23 now, but can only maintain that long enough for you two to go out for a night on the town. Only..."
He started to say something when Janice pulled Tina out the door yelling thanks behind her.
Which left Ray there, muttering,"...be careful, you still don't know completely what you can do to yourself and others. Maybe I should follow them????"
