"Did mom and dad really have to SELL US these camera feeds they took with the camera drones we got them for christmas?" Bern asked.
He and his siblings and cousins sitting in their newly built Caribbean high rise. They normally stayed in New York, but whenever the urge for destruction got too great... well, global warming made a GREAT scapegoat for a few extra 'hurricanes' sweeping through the lands. It was easier than you think when your family had a combined majority share in every media outlet except Fox News.
"Can't we just watch via a telescope camera from a satellite we own?" Bern's sister, Smuke, asked crossing her arm.
"Those don't come with audio and close up views," Fyre reminded his cousin.
"Is this really any good? I feel like going out and helping encourage the belief in the Triangle again with a few random ships never heard from again," said Styrm, shifting slightly into her true form, licking her fangs.
"We can do that any time," Bern said. "And be careful not to make too many ships I have insurance on 'never heard from again', I've enjoy this human identity and I'd rather not have my lawyers have to spend the weekend inventing a new one for me."
"Whatever." Styrm rolled her eyes.
"So we gonna watch this thing or what?" said Nuke, the youngest dragon there, taking the form of a rowdy teenager. "I wanna see were beasts being SAVAGE BEASTS, not humans with super powers, if I wanted that, I'd go rent out the latest Avengers movie."
"If you all to watch it then fine." Smuke snorted, smoking coming from her noise.
"This better not be a fake." Black said, a bit of a joke on his parents considering his scales were white in his true form. "I didn't pay a million dollars to watch some private custom movie."
"Trust me," Bern said, "The money I've already spent on cover stories to keep nosy humans away is real enough."
"I thought you said most of that money came from the town's beastie's after their minds got whammed." Asked Nuke.
"They aren't going to be missing it."
