"Well then we should go and call your boss before you get fired" Josh said.
"Fine Josh but you will have to dial the number, and I dont want you to say a single word while we are on the phone"
Soon Owen started to walk out of Kyle's room and go straight to his own room where the phone was. It was actually easy to walk except from the fact that now Owen had more weight on his shoulders which make him lose some balance, and not been able to control his arms wasnt helping. They sat on Owens bed and Josh told kyle to pick up the phone..
"Dont tell me what to do, why dont you pick up the phone?" Kyle argued
"Because Im going to dial the number so you have to pick up the phone" said Josh and they both started to yell at each other.
"STOP IT NOW! both of you!" shouted Owen, "Kyle please pick up the phone, Josh you will dial the next number, and for God's sake, dont fight with each other"
"fine" both said. they starter dialing the number but Kyle forgot to put the phone on Owen's ear.
"What are you doing? pass the phone to dad! give me that!" said Josh
"No, wait" said Kyle
"Kyle just give me the phone" said Owen, "This is worse than I though.. huh Hello Mr Finck...." when the call ended Kyle also remember that he might need to justify his posible absences in school too. then Owen called the school to get the three of them a couple of days off so they can figured out how to fix this mess. "well all we have to do now is to find a way to get each other appart"
"Oh dad, I already tried that and it didnt work, I dont know what else would work" said Josh
"Well breaking the chain isnt a real solution, and that only got us stuck with dad" Kyle said
"And buying a cursed chain wasnt very smart either" Josh
"Stop it, again, your fights wont solve anything, and if you dont start getting along , I promise you we wont be moving from here until you do. since thats the only thing i can control"
"Ok dad, we wont fight anymore.." Kyle started and then the door bell rang.
"who is it?"
"Oh no, it is Dan, I totally forgot we were going out for some beers tonight." said Josh.
"you were going out tonight? you were supossed to stay with your brother." say Owen.
"Dad, Kyle is not a kid anymore, he can be alone at home, and im actually not going becasue I will have to stay with you and Kyle" Josh
"Well, then tell him that something came up and you cant go" sugested Kyle
"And show up like this? I know Dan is my best friend but this is somehting he doesnt have to know"
"Ok this is what we are going to do. we are going downs stairs and you're telling him that you cant go out tonight with the door ajar, and youre not letting him in" said Owen
With this said, the three headed family went downstairs into the living room and to the main door where they tried to find a position in which they would look like a normal person.
