As the girls contemplated their fates on the auction block, something unprecedented happened. A short little bird man popped out from the side of the stage and ran up to dog emcee. The bird whispered in the dog's ear, providing information that seemed to startle the emcee.
"My apologies everyone. All five of these specimens have been purchased buy an anonymous bidder." The crowd grumbled and booed loudly. "If you'll all please turn your attention to the next item on the docket..."
Some ape stagehands appeared and wheeled the girls' cage offstage, through the rest of the building, and into a van. A dog man, dressed in a chauffeur's uniform, seemed to smile sheepishly through the bars of the cage at the girls and then closed the doors. As they felt the van move, the girls finally felt free to talk.
"What the fuck just happened?" Alexandra screamed.
"I think we were just sold as livestock." Said Antonia.
"What were those things? Where the hell are we?" Questioned Caroline.
"I think we're in some kind of animal dimension." Said Abigail.
"At least we got sold together, rather than getting split up." Said Hanna in a meek voice, trying to look on the bright side of things.
After a bit of time the girl's felt the van stop. The doors were opened and the dog-valet unlocked the cage. "Last stop." He said, almost sarcastically. As they stepped outside they saw that they were in what looked like an urban European city, with cobblestone streets and gaslights. In front of them was a huge, stately mansion.
"What's going on here?" Asked Caroline.
"Above my pay-grade lady. Just go inside." He grunted as he closed the doors to the van.
Once inside they were led by a dog man dressed as a butler to a ornate dining room. Inside were around a dozen other human girls, all of whom looked familiar, but a few of which were easily recognized by the group of friends.
"Tess! Rebecca!" Alexandra yelled as she ran up to her friends. They all hugged.
"So it happened to you too?" Tess said forlornly.
"We all blacked out at the party last night. Next thing we knew, we woke up at some kinda auction house for animal people. But then we were brought here." Explained Rebecca.
"Same with us." Said Caroline.
Hanna just then noticed a very familiar face among the crowd of girls, her sister Lexi.
"Lexi!" She screamed as she ran to embrace her big sister.
"Hanna! Thank god you're safe!" Said Lexi. "I mean, to the degree you can call this safe."
Just then the wide doors to the dining room swung open and a well dressed tiger-man entered the room.
"I am Silas Siberian." He said in such a way as to imply that the girls were supposed to know who he was. "I know you are all wondering why you are here."
"You see, human women are a commodity in our world. A status symbol. To take a human woman and make her your species is a dream amongst our people. But, when I heard that a human college party had been targeted as the next capture zone. I had a different idea." He said in a deep baritone. This appeared to be a part of some kind of pre-planed monologue. "So many of our kind work their entire lives for a dream they might never see come true. So I thought, why not provide the experience of transforming a human woman to your will, one night at a time, for a meager price? So I made a swift effort to purchase each and every one of you from the auction houses that divided you up and bring you here."
"So let me get this straight, you want to turn us all into animal hookers?" Said Alexandra, indignantly.
"Yes, that about sums it up." Replied Silas.
"But what if we don't want to? I mean, you can't force us!" Said Hanna, ever the naive one.
"Well once you consume the necessary transformation serum, I doubt it will take any forcing at all! I've been told the transition between species does a number on your kind's libido."
"But I don't want to be an animal!" Yelled Hanna as she began to cry.
"Oh! You'll only be transformed until you customer leaves the next day. Then you'll be given a serum to transform you back into a human. We don't want to limit the number of species who might visit us." Said Silas.
The girls all stood slack jawed at what they just heard. This was their new reality.
"I'll have the cooks prepare some food, while you're all getting measured for your garments. Then you'll need to get some sleep! We open tomorrow!" Growled Silas excitedly.
The girls looked worriedly amongst themselves. Who would their first customers be?
