"I want to stay the same age." You said
"Then your 188,956 years old confirmed." the voice said
You suddenly felt woozy and blacked out into darkness.
You woke up in a stone cave of sorts lit by torch lights, you were laying in a nest of sorts not sure what to do.
"Your name is Midnight daughter of Void your father, and Amethyst your mother you are an only child, and dragon tradition states that you will live here until a male becomes your mate." the voice said," and your nocturnal."
You walked through an opening where there were more torches, and the odd thing was that this place was familiar to you like you've lived here your whole life. You walked into the kitchen of your cave where you saw your mother cooking.
"Hello mother," you said
"Midnight what a surprise to find you up so early it's only just dusk my child." Mother said chuckling
"I'm not a child mother, not anymore at least heh," you said
"Of course my dear, now sit down and eat up while the night is young." Mother said
You begin to eating what appeared to be 3 full pieces of venison.
"Where's father?" You asked finishing
"Sentry duty with the other guards, humans are so persistent to attack us rogue ones at least are." Mother said
"Humans?" You asked
"Oh right you don't know, humans are small primates with remarkable amounts of intelligence, not as much as ours mind you, but remarkable nonetheless. Anyway humans have attacked us in the past, but those are rogue ones that go out of line, we dragons are allies with them, and they where these weird garments they call clothes, and some wear metal plates that they call armor." Mother responded
"Interesting you said that they're intelligent right can they speak?" You asked already knowing the answer
"Yes actually, but as I said they aren't as intelligent as us so there's that." Mother finished
"I'd love to meet one, just to see what they're like I mean." You said
"Just be careful around them their personalities are as diverse as our own there's no telling what one may do at first glimpse." Mother said," Now you should go for a walk around town and socialize with your friends."
"Okay," you said leaving
"I know everything about your 'friends' so I'll call them out when I see them, and if you want to see a human tough luck you aren't old enough to be permitted outside the cave village yet." The voice said
You wondered what he meant by cave village until you walked out and saw a ginormous cave filled with dragons all with different caves. An overwhelming feeling of excitement tingled inside you as you rushed down to the village.
