"Alright, so would someone please tell me what's going on? I didn't want to freak Eddie out, because I am SO freaked!" Kendra said the second the door was shut behind her. Her parents sighed and had her sit again.
"It was the sex that did it. There's another reason I didn't want you having sex at such a young age. Your feline body is now adjusting itself in preparation for kittens."
"I'm going to get pregnant?!" Kendra's hands immediately went to her stomach, and gulped.
"No, thankfully that potion doubles as a morning after pill. So no kittens for you, thank god." Jen assured her daughter.
"Eddie wouldn't have changed so far if you two hadn't kept at it. I imagine you had sex more than one time, right?" Leo asked. Kendra didn't look her father in the eye, but nodded. He huffed and walked off into another room, muttering things about his daughter being foolish and having poor judgement.
"Don't worry about him, he's angry at himself for not telling you sooner. So am I. You're at that age when you start becoming more physical with your boyfriends, we shouldn't have kept something so important from you." Jen sighed, moving closer to Kendra on the couch.
"Ya think? Sorry, it's just been a long day." Kendra's words came out a bit harsher than she intended. But her mom understood. When she went through her first change, she'd been so stir crazy. The year after had been rough, and she was lucky to have met Leo when she did. Otherwise she would have turned her own human boyfriend. At least Eddie wasn't opposed to being a werecat.
"There are so many things we never told you, mostly because we didn't think you were ready," Jen said, an arm wrapped around Kendra's shoulders, "I know all of this came as quite a shock. We didn't want to overwhelm you with information. And you and Eddie didn't seem that serious, so we saw no risk in letting you continue dating him. I'm sorry."
"I really wish you'd told me about this earlier. But why don't you and dad look like me and Eddie when you change?" Kendra asked.
"Oh we do, occasionally. You'll find that as you get older you have more control over your body. There are a multitude of stages of transformation you can explore. Some more feline than human."
"So, when I change later, will I go back to being all furry or...?"
"There's only one way to find out. I don't know, I've never been in your situation. Normally the full werecat form doesn't appear until much later. Mostly because, as werecats, we normally wait until we find a mate before having sex transformed."
"Does that mean Eddie and me are, like, married?" Kendra gulped again. She had only turned eighteen a couple of months ago, she didn't want to be married. Then again, Eddie was now the only guy she knew of she could have sex with without worrying about shifting in the middle of it, or turning him by accident. And he really was a great guy. Considerate, polite, and he enjoyed her furry self as much as her normal self.
"Well I wouldn't go that far. But I think that you two are going to be spending a lot more time together. Especially since your in heat now."
"But I feel fine right now."
"The potion will wear off eventually. And you will still have to take the regular one every morning. Which means you'll still need to shift now and again. Since you can't fully control how far you change, I think it's safe to bet you'll end up completely furry for the time being. And with that form comes the heat." Jen explained.
"Great, just great." Kendra groaned. She'd always found managing her transformations a bit of an inconvenience before. She had to work her life around them. Now they were made all the more complicated because she'd been stupid this one morning and forgotten to drink her potion.
"Don't worry honey, it'll get better. Why don't you go get washed up for dinner?"
Kendra nodded, and walked down the hall into the bathroom. She looked at her own reflection for what seemed the first time in years. She'd been so focused on Eddie's body she'd ignored her own. Her breasts definitely seemed bigger. An entire cup size bigger. Her eyes seemed different too, more green than hazel. Running a hand through her hair, Kendra also found that her ears were a bit tapered. No so noticeable that people would ask about them, but if they really looked they might ask Kendra if she was an elf.
"Are these changes permanent? Or is this just because Eddie and I had sex? God I've got so many questions. And I'm sure Eddie does too. I hope he's okay, I don't even want to think about what his parents would do if they found out what he is, or that I was the one who changed him. I'd end up locked away, or a science experiment." she thought nervously.
"Kendra, can you help me in the kitchen?" Jen called.
"Ya, I'll be right there!" Kendra shouted back. Drying her hands on a towel, Kendra failed to notice the inch long nub sticking out of the top of her jeans. Her tail hadn't disappeared completely. But this fact went unnoticed by Kendra and her parents as they prepared their dinner.
