Damon thought for a few moments, and begain to speak, then stopped after uttering an "I...". Damon stopped talking and went over to his computer and opened up his word processor and began to type. Damon lost track of time, but the Genie patiently waited, saying nothing as Damon typed, deleted, and started over a few times in frustration. Finally, after an all night session, Damon saved his document and went to bed. Too tired to review it, he had to sleep on it. He told the genie he would make his first wish later, and that he wanted to thoughtfully consider more of the ramifications of his first wish.
The genie bowed slowly and smiled, "You are wise not act in haste."
Damon slept for several hours, and when he awoke went back to the computer for what became several hours of more editing, frustration, and starting over more than once. Finally, after an entire day of effort, Damon was ready to print out his first wish.
