"I'm willing to get aquainted with the resistance, and if they decide to attempt to harm me I will only defend myself by incapacitating them." You said,"There are specific spells that do that with demonic magic however they will have one hell of a nightmare."
"Okay then it's decided there's a base not far from here, we'll try to defend you so you won't have to resort to your ummm, abilities." Firestorm said
"Lead the way." Topaz said
Firestorm lead us nearby to a base and asked you to stay here. "Why?" You asked him cocking your head to the side."It's just you sort of have a bad record we'll get the leader and bring him here so that nobody gets hurt." Firestorm said to you.
"Okay." You said," I'll wait here then."
Firestorm and Topaz left you be, and while they were gone you practiced controlling your magic by playing with a black, and purple flame between your claws. They then came back and told you to come out, so you did and the leaders guards almost attacked you until Topaz reassured them that you're here to help. "Why'd you have us meet him out here you know what he did to us." One guard said. "He'll kill us all," the other guard said. "Exactly, he's perfect for our cause." The leader, who was a female dragon with black and red scales, said as the guards stared at her. "What it's true if he was able to perform acts like he did then he would be the perfect ally for us, and the perfect weapon." The leader said. "Your are the first person to see me and act positively towards me at first sight, and you should know that I know my past only vaguely, but I have some memories of what I've done and I regret them, and I feel grief towards those who died by me, not those recently that I've killed but those who die by accident." You said to her.
"Firestorm said you broke him out of solitary and I admit when he told me I was interested, but I never expected you, my name is Chaos, and I know plenty about you Cal'kar plenty of things." Chaos said.
"I don't know wether to feel flattered, attracted, or afraid of what you just said no offense." You said
"None taken, come Firestorm was smart not to let you just come in you're responsible for plenty of massacres already." Chaos said. "How many beings did I kill?" You asked her,"Topaz told me about the incident at one of your temples, and so that brings your kill counter to 243."
"Damn," you said and then thought," I don't even want to know what I did, but considering the dreams I've been having."
"By the way I can read your mind, and you should know that I know that your memories are in fragments." Chaos whispered in your ear.
"Lets be off, I'll have a place for you right away Cal." Chaos said to you
"Cal?" You asked
"You don't like it?" Chaos said
"It's not that it's just odd, you can still call if you want to I'll get used to it." You said
As you arrived at the camp everyone reacted exactly as you expected them to towards you at first, but Chaos assured them that you were an ally. You were moved into a hut with Firestorm, Topaz, and a dragon named Kri'mal who had silver scales and was male. He was uncomfortable with you at first but then you told him that you have no intention to harm, and that you would at most incapacitate any agresser from here.
That night as you were settling in you turned towards Kri'mal and asked,"Hey Kri'mal three things, first I want you to know that I don't have any memories from my past about purposely killing anyone except for the time when I defended Topaz, back at the temple, and that I regain memories as I sleep, and that anyone who I remember died for no reason I regret killing in the first place. Second, The Corrupted Darkness was obsessed with my demonic strength, and wanted to siphon my energy which is why I fight now, and that I want to redeem myself somehow. Finally I want to know your honest opinion about me, and don't worry I won't harm you at all I'm not that kind of person."
"Well I'm afraid of you, everyone is which is why people fight you, your the only one who has influence over demonic magic, and if I could kill you I wouldn't because I'm certain that you didn't kill all of them on purpose, and as for the question for if I like you then I'm starting to come around, what do you remember by the way?" Kri'mal asked you
You told him what you remembered from the past and that you would update everyone in the morning. Everyone nodded and you went to sleep seeing what you could find in your dreams, and so you could learn more about Cal'kar.
