The next morning Mark woke up alone in the room. Jimmy and the other boys had gone to their first tests of that day. He looked at his diaper and he realized that scientist had already taken their routine samples from him.
"I guess I have a couple of hours before Jimmy returns." Mark thought.
He dressed and brushed his teeth in the bathroom, ate some cookies on a small table and went out.
Mind wasn't too different from Body, excepting his huge size. It has lots of corridors and romos. He sneaked into some ones, but nobody were around. He walked a little more and found some big classrooms where the boys were taking their tests. Judging by the expressions on their faces, those quizzes should be very complex and full of difficult problems. Mark was a little bit happy that he didn't need to be part of that kind of tests. For a moment, losing his basics functions wasn't that bad to him. As he looked at the classrooms, he noted some big clocks in the walls. They had big red numbers and a sign that said 'TIME LEFT'. It indicated two hours, so Mark assumed he will need to wait two more hours to meet his friend again.
"Two hours... What will I do in two hours?" He questioned to himself. "Maybe I could go to participate in a volleyball game..."
He began to walk through corridors looking for a way to go to the main hall where he used to meet his new friends. But Mind was way more bigger than Body and after walking for 20 minutes he accepted that he was lost.
"I can't go back to Jimmy's room either." He said.
He was thinking what to do when a couple of scientist came out from a thick metal door. They were looking some papers on their hands that didn't note Mark's presence and were walking through the corridor as if they knew exactly where to go. Mark thought that to follow them was better that staying lost, so he walked a few steps behind them. After walking through several corridors that looked the same in Mark's eyes, the scientist stopped in front of a huge metal door at the end of a hall. They take out some cards from their pockets and slide them through a panel next to the door.
When the door opened, a black blur came out from it and the scientist dissappeared inside it. Mark was curious of where they were going, maybe that was an exit to the outside world, and as he was lost and the door was still opened, he went inside it too. As son as he crossed the door frame, a metal sound of the door's closing indicates him that he has no return right now. After walking in the darkness for several minutes he hit a wall.
"This can't a dead end, there must be a door or something." He thought and began to inspect the wall with his hands. He didn't find a door but a ladder instead. "Ok, the path goes up now."
He climbed through the ladder until he reached a hatch door. He opened it slowly to don't make noises and entered to a new room. Eventhough it was completely dark, it wasn't like any other room that he had seen in the facilities before, particularly because it had wooden walls and floor. He carefully walked through it trying to don't make any noise. As he walked, the floor squeaked as an old one. With his hands he realized that there was some furnitures like sofas and tables.
"Is this a cottage?" Mark was thinking when suddenly a mysterious red light came out from a corner. "What's that?"
He went to the light source and he found a small hole behind an old and big sofa. An intense light came out from it, so he put an eye to see what was on the other side. What he found was a shiny and completely white room. It was almost empty, except for a white surgery table and the scientists Mark had been following. They were still focused on their documents.
Some minutes later, another figure entered to Mark's viewing range. A young man, maybe around 25, blonde, well built and with a beard walked to the table and lied down on it. He was wearing just a robe that didn't cover his bare arms and legs.
"Test subject zero is ready for the test." A scientist said.
"Ok, I will prepare the machine." The other one responded. "In 5, 4, 3, 2, 1..."
