There was a loud crash as Lance and Lila where in the kitchen trying to prepare some snacks for three over active children. Cindy who is seven and her six year old twin brothers Jasper and Yogi. The three children are Rick Carpenter’s; Lila’s younger brother. He and Ester dropped them off so they could enjoy their wedding anniversary in peace. Another loud crash could be heard and both Lance and Lila wince.
“That’s the second lamp,” Lance shaking his head; “are you niece and nephews always this destructive?”
Lila smiles; “yeah. But there is a trick to get them to quiet down.”
“And what is that,” Lance looking distraught.
“I don’t know,” Lila shrugging her shoulders; “Ester was mum about that.”
“Well perhaps a large were-panther staring them down will do the trick,” Lance disrobing and starting to assume his were-panther fursona.
“Yeah,” Lila giggling; “but I doubt Benton is going to come over just to scare three cubs.”
“Oh yee of little faith,” Lance staring at Lila as he flexes his claws and gives off a low growl.
Lila shakes her head as she quickly removes her clothes; embracing her were-tigress fursona as she follows her black furred were-panther mate into the living room. Seeing three children wrestling and fight was nothing new to her; this would not be her first time breaking up a fight between Jasper, Yogi and Cindy. Letting loose a tiger roar as Lance drags Jasper and Yogi off Cindy gets them to stop their scuffle.
“What is it you three are fighting over this time,” Lila looking at the three kids.
“And why did you have to break my lamps,” Lance looking stern.
“Cindy wouldn’t let us watch t.v,” Jasper struggling from Lance’s grip; “we want to watch cartoons.”
“Cartoon aren’t on at this hour dummies,” Cindy sneering.
“Yes they are,” Yogi stating; “on channel forty.”
“So it’s this fight again,” Lila shaking her head; “Cindy let Jasper and Yogi watch t.v. You know they like to watch anime.”
“Ha,” Jasper mocking Cindy; “told you.”
“You two don’t get out of this so easily,” Lila looking at the struggling twin boys; “you destroyed some lamps.”
“Expensive lamps,” Lance speaking up; “they were Tiffany’s. The shades were leaded stain glass on pewter stands and once belonged to my parents. They’ll be upset,” Lance sighing; “when they see them missing from the living room. The bulbs for them are hard to come by.”
“This isn’t your home,” Lila speaking; “you can’t just run around like a bull in a china shop all the time. Remember the last time you three had a fight?”
“Yes,” all three children say in unison.
“What did your mother make you do,” Lila speaking.
“Make us clean up,” Yogi looking sad.
“I’ll get the broom and dust pan,” Lance letting the boys go; “mind your feet and paws, there is glass everywhere.”
“Cindy,” Lila looking at her niece; “you’re helping me in the kitchen. Jasper and Yogi your helping Lance. Be mindful of him,” Lila speaking; “he will be your uncle soon and this is his house, so no more destroying the place.”

Thirty minutes later; with the living room swept clean of broken glass, the black furred were-panther stares at the two twin boys looking scared.
“I know what it’s like to be the younger sibling,” Lance looking at Jasper and Yogi; “my older brother Benton was not exactly kind to me. He tormented and bullied me,” Lance guiding the children to the sofa and turning on the t.v; “our ten year age difference didn’t help.”
“Did he try to paint your face purple while you sleep,” Jasper asking.
“Or put worm in your shoes,” Yogi speaking up.
“Worse,” Lance shaking his head; “most of the time Benton outright ignored me. Pretended I never existed. From what you just told me,” Lance flipping the tv to channel forty; “your older sister doesn’t ignore you.”
“No,” Jasper smiling; “that’s what we tried to do to her this morning.”
“No wonder you parents dropped you three off here,” Lance shaking his head; “A chance to have a day of peace and quiet without your destructive nature is irresistible.”
“No,” Yogi speaking up; “they want to make funny noises without us interrupting them.”
Lance rolls his eyes and growls slightly. Knowing what Yogi just said; Lance knew any chance of he and Lila having a little fun before bed is clearly out the window. “So what is this show you two like about,” Lance watching the program with Jasper and Yogi.

“Okay Cindy,” Lila alone with her niece in the kitchen; “what is the real reason as to why you three are at it again.”
“There typical teasing,” Cindy sitting on a chair; “why do boys act so dumb?”
“They are your brothers,” Lila comforting Cindy; “they may tease now, but when you are older you’ll find there teasing will turn into protection. Your father and I had our moments.”
“Was this after you had your first transformation,” Cindy asking; “After your tiger woke up?”
“After your father had his first transformation,” Lila sitting down next to Cindy; “he felt the need to keep boys away from me. Especially the boys,” Lila smiling; “I found pleasing to the eye.”
“Boys are icky,” Cindy sticking out her tongue.
“That will change when your older,” Lila laughing; “until then, be sure to give as good as you get. But try and not,” Lila hugging her niece; “destroy the house in the process.”
“Are you and Lance going to make cubs soon,” Cindy asking.
Lila smiles, “once we are married; but that doesn’t mean we won’t be having our special fun until then.”
“That’s what mom and dad are doing right now,” Cindy speaking; “they make strange noises in bed, then Jasper and Yogi bust in and ask what they are doing.”
Lila laughs as she understands why her younger brother dropped his children off. “Help me serve these snacks Cindy,” Lila purring; “afterwards we’ll make some sloppy Joes for supper.”
