Bobbi and her friends wandered off by themselves. She headed down an aisle dedicated to fantasy beings. She shuffled through the orcs, witches and dragons looking for something more suited to her tastes. That's when she saw it; the most beautiful fairy costume she'd ever seen. Bobbi always loved fairies. The problem was, fairy costumes were always either cheap and unconvincing; or way too expensive for just the wings alone.
However, this costume had broad, opalescent, butterfly wings in a multitude of colors; a shimmering, pink rose gown with the feel of real flower petals; and pumps of a similar, sturdier material. In a separate bag were, prosthetic ear extensions that were large and pointed, but elegant, rather than goofy; a headband with antennae; and a convincing silver wand with a realistic star-shaped jewel on the tip.
Such a costume HAD to be prohibitively expensive; but to Bobbi's surprise, it was just barely within her price range. She knew right then and there she was getting it. Taking it off the rack, she hurried down to the gothic cashier and opened her purse. She paused only to ask "Maybe I should try it on first. Hey, is there a changing room here?" She asked.
"No need," The Goth girl said with a smile, "It's a very special costume. I guarantee it will fit you to a tee!"
Bobbi slapped down her cash and waited for her friends to start showing up with their costumes. "Well, that was fast!" Amanda said.
"You must've got just what you wanted." Sam added.
Maxine arrived shortly after. "She sure did!" She said, pointing to Bobbi's fairy costume.
