CYOTF (New)

Boxed And Stuffed

added 6 years ago I S O

Just as you were about to use the car keys, the nosy policeman knocks you off-balance while rifling through the trunk. You stumble backwards and accidentally press the button. There was a bright flash of light, followed by a loud clatter. The cop was nowhere to be seen. In his place, there was now a small sized tupperware box on the floor, luckily undamaged. You groan and run a hand down your face in despair. Now you'd gone and gotten a complete stranger involved in your mess. You reach down and pick him up to examine him. He was a transparent, plastic block with a bright red lid. Up close, you could see a few scuff marks from when he had dropped to the floor. You carefully dig a finger under the seal and cringe as you peel the lid away from the box with a creaking sound. It was hard to believe that this object used to be a living, breathing man. Then again, you were still trying to wrap your head around Keith now being... Shit, Keith!

You briefly abandon the open tupperware box to the side of your car trunk and turn back towards the large brown turd stinking up the inside of your car. You point the key at him, and make to press the button, however your hand begins to shake. What if he didn't turn back into a human? What if he became an elephant, or a virus, or a bomb... You sighed and stared at the excrement that was once your friend. Was he even aware of his predicament? Could he still think, still feel, still live? If he could, he showed no signs of it. For all intents and purposes, he was just shit... You stuff the keys into your pocket and lean back against the car. You knew there was no way you could leave him stuck as a pile of dog shit forever, and that poor cop was only doing his job. He didn't deserve to be turned into a plastic box. You had to fix things but there was no way to predict what would happen if you pressed the button again. You needed to learn how to control the key's power before using it again, even if it unfortunately meant leaving your friend as a pile of crap and the cop as tupperware. Maybe there was something online that could guide you towards a better solution. it was worth a shot. Now there was the issue of keeping Keith somewhere safe... You glance over to the ex-policeman and gulp.

You lift up Keith carefully, his body still felt warm and squishy in your hand much to your disgust, and carried him over to the copperware box. However, the box was too small to lower him inside with your hands. Instead, you tilt the box and awkwardly shuffle the shit off of the paper. He quickly slides off the page and splatters inside of the box with a dull, wet slap. "Sorry..." you mutter as your friend smears the inside of the once transparent box. Things get messier as you attempt to wipe whatever was left of Keith stuck to the paper along the rim of the policeman's plastic walls, brown slop dribbling down the sides. When you had finished, there was still a large brown stain on the paper but it was nothing that could be helped. You scrunch it up and chuck it onto the road before grabbing the red lid and putting it back onto the top of the ex-cop, wincing as you find Keith's malleable body being crushed under the lid, his soft body spreading out and filling up the box. Finally the ordeal was over. Keith was now inside of the policeman, which looked to everyone else as just a large piece of dog shit smooshed into a small tupperware box. At least the pungent smell of dog excrement was contained within as well. You carry the cop-box to the front of the car and put him on the floor beside the passenger seat. Then you get into the driver's seat and start the car, getting ready to drive home and hopefully one step closer to solving this mess.
