Hearing this in her dreams causes Zylina to wake up panting; those words stuck in her head as she once again shivers in fear from the were-lioness baring claws and fangs as Zylina thought she would roll over to a werewolf. Shocked that not only the were-lioness would not back down and that she was the daughter to the were-lion rep of the elder council, Zylina was forced to look on afar in despair as she heard the two together as she stalked them both throughout the summer break.
Getting up; the werewolf whose fursona is based off the red wolf, Zylina stares are herself in her mirror.
“How can Nate be in love with a were-lioness,” Zylina muttering while cupping her ample fur covered breasts; “when he has yet to enjoy mating with me.”

“Our daughter is up,” the male werewolf sighing; “I only wish I didn’t have to do what I was ordered to do.”
“I don’t agree with it either love,” the female werewolf speaking; “but if the head alpha commands it you have to obey.”
“But to have her involved with the Luna brotherhood,” The male speaking; “after I saw what Greg condone when he was the alpha of the Seattle chapter-“
“You did what you thought was right,” the female placing a paw on her mates; “even if it did brand you as a pack betrayer.”
“What happened to Alyssa Cooper,” the former beta shaking his head; “I was their love. I witnessed her being murdered and did nothing.”
“And now you are the new Alpha for the Seattle chapter,” the Beta’s mate speaking but is interrupted.
“Yet every werewolf pack in Washington knows what I did to bring down Greg,” the male sighing; “I’m shunned Janet, even with my twin sister and her three pups. They want nothing to do with me. And I don't blame them; Greg was my sister's mate. How can I rebuild the chapter when every werewolf I handed scrolls to have told me to quote ‘fuck off’ end quote.”
“You have to try harder,” Janet sighing; “you can’t just resign Dave.”
“The hell I can,” Dave growling; “you and Zylina are all I have left. I’m not going to let either of you go. If those dicks from Romania don’t like it, than fuck ‘em.”
“But the summons,” Janet looking at the letter with a black seal depicting a howling wolf; “you can’t disregard it.”
“I’m not,” Dave sighing; “I will go to meet with them and I will tender my resignation. They must realize I can’t run the chapter if no one will join. And to have Zylina join, she is too young.”
Zylina came into the kitchen; seeing her parents looking despondent even in their fursonas. Her mother with the typical pelt of grey fur and yellow eyes; her father a black furred werewolf with hazel eyes. Seeing a square letter with a black seal on it; Zylina knows her parents were discussing Luna business; seeing her father quickly grab the letter with his paw confirms as much.
“I take it,” Zylina sighing; “that you were discussing Luna brotherhood business. I saw the letter, no use denying it.”
“Zylina,” Janet placing a paw on her daughter’s shoulder; “your father is having a difficult time rebuilding the Seattle chapter of the Luna Brotherhood.”
“I can help,” Zylina speaking; “I’m old enough.”
“No,” Dave growling; “I don’t want you involved. It’s why I’ve kept your uncle from getting his claws into you all these years.”
“You won’t even let me join the local packs here in town,” Zylina growling in return; “stop treating me like i'm a newborn pup. I’m turning seventeen soon, but that doesn’t mean I can’t make my OWN choices.”
“Stalking Nate Anderson and his girlfriend was not a wise choice daughter,” Dave looking stern; “yes I know of that. I even know of your bone headed move in trying to challenge Jean Talbot. Did you think,” Dave looking distraught; “that you had a hope in hell of cowing a were-lioness? The daughter of Leon Talbot; this towns were-lion king?”
“I didn’t know at the time,” Zylina looking glum; “but Nate is a delicious looking tall glass of milk and a werewolf.”
“That werewolf that has made his decision,” Janet answering; “stay away from him. We are already in deep with the Luna brotherhood. Getting us in trouble with a were-lion pride and the skulk is something we cannot deal with.”
“What does the skulk have to do with Nate,” Zylina asking.
“Nates parents are were-foxes,” Dave answering; “as such he and his brother are honorary members of the skulk as they are still minors. I really don’t want to be dealing with Tachibana in having to explain to her why you are harassing those under HER protection.”
“Look,” Janet sighing; “lets have some breakfast. Later we can discuss you joining a werewolf pack.”
“Janet,” Dave barking; “its-“
“Enough Dave,” Janet growling in return; “our daughter is correct; we do treat her like a newborn pup. Once she is eighteen, you can’t expect her to not want to go her own way. If she wants to join a pack, who are we to say no!”
Dave just grumbles as he knows Janet just made it clear that this argument has reached it inevitable conclusion. Zylina smiling as she knows which pack she wants to join. Knowing she can’t approach the werewolf of her dreams; Zylina thinks of approaching his friends, Ben or Alex. Since both are gay, she knows neither will be romantically interested in her, which suits her fine. Zylina’s heart is set on the black fur Adonis that they are friends with.
