Jen cried for a few minutes, but something finally clicked, if this reality was different then she would have to keep herself together so she could find out what was going on. Jen stood up, her legs lifting her higher than she was before, and she walked for a while. She decided to make her way out of town and into the nearby cow pastures, she walked over to a tree and sat, her colossal legs making an audible thud, the tree shook a little.
She looked at her giant legs, her feet nearly two car lengths away, she could see them as clearly as she did this morning, but couldn't touch them, even if she tried. She decided to take stock of her condition and lifted her leg up above her head, not a challenge for her limber legs, and tried to wrap her arms around her thigh, but found herself unable to, it's thickness was nearly that of a tree.
She moved her leg sideways, as if to do a split and then bent her knee, bringing her foot closer to her. As she did she nearly screamed by instinct, her foot now the size of a car she thought she would be killed until she stopped it, she carefully moved it closer, as close as she could get it, and touched the sole of her foot.
"God, this can't be mine, it's huge." She gasped and felt a familiar tingle as she gained another four inches, she didn't notice and real difference in the size of her foot. She nervously looked it over and decided to be a little risky, wanting to see her foot grow just to make sure it wasn't a horrible dream.
"I love these legs, they're the greatest thing that ever happened to me, I'm so glad I'm cursed." Jen said, she felt her body tingle and saw her foot expand by another twelve inches, she gazed in amazement as it grew, and moved her leg back to a more comfortable position. Jen stared at her massive legs and began to think out loud.
"Well, I don't have a home." She felt a tingle. "I have a home." Nothing happened this time so she decided to see if she could force the curse of work with her. "I don't know where home is." She felt another tingle, but nothing entered her mind. She looked around and said "Is this my home?" Nothing happened, "I have a house." She felt a tingle "But I have a home, how can't I have a house? Outside is not a home." Jen shouted but nothing happened.
"I live outside." Jen said and nothing happened. "Great. I haven't got any walls or a roof, I officially live outside." Jen leaned back on the tree and looked up through it's branches, it was a clear night and she could see every star in the sky, before she fell asleep she muttered, "Maybe this isn't so bad."
