"Uh, I don't like the sound of being painted. I'm way too ticklish," John replied with a little nervous chuckle. Carrie noticed this too and gave him a playful nudge in the ribs. Which of course made him flinch.
The receptionist just waved it off with a smile, "Then the costume store is probably where you wanna go for that! You can get there by heading down Main Street until you get to Forest Lane. It's right there on the corner," she laughed a bit, straightening her uniform. She gestured to the street itself, "It's called 'The Sol Emporium.' Can't miss it!"
"Um, where's Main Street?" Carrie spoke up.
"You're standing on it!" the receptionist grinned, tapping her foot "Handy, huh?"
"Agreed!" John laughed.
Without needing anymore convincing, Carrie grabbed her husband by the arm and started leading him down the street, "Well, come on! I wanna see this Sol Emporium! Oh, and thank you, Miss!"
"Don't mention it!" the receptionist giggled as she waved to them as the two left. Then, added under her breath, "I wonder if I should I told them about the zipper issues... Nah! I'm sure they'll be fine. Maybe."
