Chad picked up the note, and a key card fell out. Chad picked up the key card, and it seemed to attach to his hand. He read the note, "Chad, take this key card and go to 1313 Cemetery Road now. Use the key card to enter, and go downstairs to the basement. I'll see you there later."
Chad watched as the note disintegrated being consumed by the nanobots that were now one with him. He looked at the palm of his other hand. The key card was now embedded in his palm.
He glanced down at his naked body, and over at his pile of clothing. He wanted to put something on, but the imperative now in the note compelled him to go as quickly as he could to the address in the note.
Chad's mind raced as he visualized the shortest route to 1313 Cemetery Road. It was like his mind linked to Google Maps. Perhaps it did, via the nanobots? The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Chad exited out the backside of the Field House and strode naked into the woods behind the school. He hoped no one saw him. Or would see him. He seemed to have no control over his own body. He moved quickly. His pace ignored the brambles, and branches scraping against his body. He felt each one, but the cuts and scrapes healed up instantly thanks to the nanobots.
