Sitting in the hospital room and placing a travel bag down; Evan smiles as he looks at his wife Maggie cradling their newborn son. Seeing his wife in her hybrid were-panther/feline fursona as she guides the hungry baby to a breast, allowing Junior to suckle mother’s milk; it filled Evan with such pride that he could not help but strip off his clothes and assume his werewolf form. Sitting next to Maggie as she breast feeds Evan Lawson Junior; Evan senior gives off a low happy growl.
“To think,” Evan admiring his son; “it took nine months for you to come into this world.”
“More around eight and a half,” Maggie correcting him as she purrs; enjoying the sensation of feeding her baby.
“My little wolf,” Evan smiling; “I can’t wait for you to grow up. I have all sorts of fun things to teach you.”
“Our baby has no scent yet,” Maggie speaking; “we won’t know until around puberty what our son will be. Remember how Spencer turned out?”
“How could I forget,” Evan answering; “everyone in our family was betting she would be either a werewolf, panther or feline.”
“No one thought,” Maggie smiling; “that Spencer would become a hybrid of all three.”
“That was a surprising day,” Evan seeing the little cub finish suckling; “let me hold my son Maggie.”
“Careful Evan,” Maggie gently passing the child off to him; “support him with the crook of your arm.”
“I know,” Evan answering; “it’s not like I forgot when Spencer was this size.”
“But it seemed like yesterday,” a doctor entering the room; “that I see the same couple doting on their daughter like they are with their son.”
“Doctor Tora,” Maggie smiling as she recognized the man entering; “how good of you to visit.”
“Well it’s not often I get to visit one of my fellow doctors after they gave birth now,” Tora Tachibana smiling; “I understand Evan Junior was a bit impatient when coming into the world now. You gave birth to him at home?”
“My father in-law helped,” Maggie looking at her husband gently rocking his son; “Evan was his usual useless self.”
“Hey,” Evan looking up; “I helped catch my son as he was born.”
“I’ll leave you two alone then,” Doctor Tora chuckling: “a nurse will be along to bring your son back to the maternity ward. Oh and congratulations!”

The ’66 mustang was traveling down the highway at an insane speed. With several police cruisers in hot pursuit; the driver was scared as the police were so quickly onto him. After shooting Peter Talbot at The Diner and taking off with his car; the wanted criminal soon notices a decal on the dashboard.
‘This vehicle is equipped with LoJack’
“Fuck,” the man fumes; “now I got to ditch this sweet ride.”
Yet it was too late. Before he made it to the highway an APB*and a Bolo** was issued for the vehicle he was driving. Now he had state troopers and Moon Lake Police dogging his heels as he tries to race along a major artery of the state of Washington. Zooming by a police cruiser that stopped ahead; the man soon felt before hearing two tires blowing out. Riding over a spike strip; he struggle to maintain control of the vehicle and quickly flips it over, totaling the classic car.
Getting out; the criminal was shocked that he survived the vicious roll over. With gun in hand and surrounded by flashing red and blues; the criminal has a hard time hearing what a state trooper is ordering him to do, what with the sound of the sirens blaring. Confused and scared, the man unknowingly raises his hand wielding the gun he shot Peter Talbot with.
Fearing the worst; the state troopers unload and discharge their weapons on the criminal and watch him crumple to the ground. Approaching the downed man; one officer kick the fallen weapon away, while another rolls him over and places the man in handcuffs. Twitching and now screaming in pain as the barbs from the half dozen stun guns used on him, bite and dig into his flesh. Knowing this is the end of his spree; the criminal silently waits as he is pull unceremoniously off the ground and dragged to an waiting cruiser.
“Today’s your lucky day,” a state trooper looking at the sullen criminal; “the person you shot is going to pull through. So you’ll be charged with attempted murder instead of aggravated murder. Oh and let’s not forget armed robbery and attempting to elude police,” the state trooper growling; “Peter Talbot has quite the assortment of friends back in Moon Lake. I should know, I’m one of them.”
Slamming the door and heading back to his cruiser; the state trooper ensures the audio of his dash cam is turned off before making a phone call.
“Douglas, its Eugene. We got Peter’s shooter.”
“That’s great,” Douglas answering; “does he know of our town’s secret?”
“Not sure,” Eugene answering; “but when you tell the were-lion king, let him know a member of his pride witness the take down.”
“Will do,” Douglas answering; “I’ll tell Leon and Peter in the morning. Just get the perp processed and properly Mirandized.”
“Well since the crime happened back in your jurisdiction,” Eugene speaking; “we’ll make sure he spends time in your local jail. The criminal is in one of your deputy’s cruiser on his way back as we speak.”
“Thanks,” Douglas responding; “and don’t be shy in visiting your uncle Trooper Talbot. I’m sure Leon would love a visit from you.”
“I intend to visit my cousin Peter,” Eugene chuckling; “the first chance I get tomorrow morning. You take care of yourself Douglas.”
“You as well Eugene,” Douglas answering; “Moon Lake police misses it’s were-lion officer.”
