“Well,” Nate leaving the hospital and seeing his brother and girlfriends; “if it isn’t the terrible trio.”
Eric, Spencer and Frieda turn around to see Nate arm in arm with Jean Talbot with Regina a few steps behind.
“Nate,” Eric looking surprised; “what are you doing here?”
“Visiting my brother,” Jean answering before Nate could speak; “he was shot at last night.”
“WHAT,” Eric looking surprised along with Spencer and Frieda; “what happened?”
A brief explanation with Regina joining in; Eric, Spencer and Frieda were soon given a quick rundown of what happened to Peter last night. Being shot and nearly dying, all for a 66 mustang that is now totaled. The Talbot family was naturally distraught.
“Well,” Nate placing a comforting hand on Jean; “not all the nightly news recap is tragic.”
“My mother had her baby,” Spencer speaking up; “I have a brother now.”
“I know,” Nate nodding; “I saw Evan and he told me. Maggie gave birth to Evan Junior in their living room.”
“But that is not the only good news,” Jean smiling; “Nate and I had a were-wedding last night.”
“Apparently,” Frieda one upping the news; “Spencer, Eric and myself had one roughly nine months ago.”
“We only just found this morning,” Eric looking bemused.
“So than,” Nate chuckling; “we both get to tell mom and dad some surprising news.”
“And I should inform Benton what happen last night,” Amanda looking worried.
“I doubt you need to concern yourself with it mom,” Frieda answering; “dad is with uncle and by now he knows what happened and has told dad before reading it in a newspaper.”

“Last night Peter Talbot got shot,” Lance reentering his house and grabbing a beer; “but that is not the whole story.”
Lance takes a brief pause as he drinks his beer before continuing to speak. Explaining to Lila, Rick and Benton, that the perp Daniel Parker is the son of Freddie “The Shark” Parker; a mobster from California.
“What Samantha just told me,” Lance sitting down; “is that Freddie is in town with a shitload of lawyers. They tried to bamboozle judge Flagg in letting Daniel go, but Daniel has a warrant for his arrest back in San-Francisco.”
“Okay,” Benton looking bored; “but that doesn’t describe the sad look on your face.”
“It’s the next part that is going to make you look glum like me brother,” Lance sighing; “after all, we are all looking forward to Monday’s Labor Day Picnic.”
“Oh don’t say it,” Rick growling; crushing his empty beer can.
“While Freddie Parker is in town; Samantha has enacted emergency procedures. I am to have coded messages playing during KPXX’s broadcasting as well as the same message printed in the gazette,” Lance finishing his beer; “no shifting in your fursona during the Labor Day picnic.”
“Oh you got to be fucking kidding me,” Rick growling; “Ester and I were looking forward to that.”
“You and me both,” Benton snarling; “and I know Amanda and Frieda were excited to let the sunlight touch their fur in public during the last day of summer and the day before school starts.”
Lila who was silent during the unfortunate exchange; gets up and grabs the empty plates; staring back at her brother, her husband and his brother, shakes her head.
“Enough with the doom and gloom,” Lila looking at the three depressed weres; “you have a nursery to get ready and a sofa swap to do.”
“And what are you going to do,” Lance looking at his wife.
“Look after our child to be,” Lila rubbing her belly; clearly showing that she is roughly three months pregnant; “Start with removing the broken sofa in the living room and moving the hide a bed from the soon to be nursery into the living room.”
“Better move the crib,” Benton looking glum; “we don’t want to damage it as we are moving large furniture.”
“At least it won’t be as heavy,” Rick sighing; “as the antique armoire of Lila’s you and I hauled Lance.”
“The crib,” Lance looking at Rick; “of course.”
“I meant the hide a bed,” Rick chuckling as the three started back up to getting a nursery prepared.

William Anderson was growling softly as Martha mewled happily. Both were-foxes snuggled and enjoying their after were-club sex/nap. Neither wanting to get out of bed as both were half awake and feeling completely content in each other’s furry embrace. Yet hearing the front door open and sensing their children home; Both William and Martha struggle to get out of bed as they hear a large gathering of voices on the ground floor.
“Sounds like Nate and Eric brought their friends over,” Martha yawning.
“We’ll ask them to be quiet and then head back to bed,” William rumbling; “I’m still tired from last night and want to snuggle some more with you.”
Coming downs the stairs, both William and Martha in their were-fox fursonas; They see their sons Eric and Nate as well as their friends, Spencer, Frieda and Jean. Yet what surprised them was that Frieda’s mother Amanda Knight was with them and a woman they barely recall meeting before. Getting a strong smell of were-lioness from the woman; William and Martha are soon informed by Jean that her mother Regina is here and there is some important news to be shared, some of it good and some not so good.
“I better get the coffee brewing,” Martha sighing; “looks like we are going to have to forgoe that nap.”
